Defence hasn’t been very good. Werribee look like scoring every time forward.

Maginnes to sonsie and a goal...could it be a vision of the future?

Sonsie is looking comfortable. Showed a good sidestep and good pressure. Rushed his kicks a bit but it's a great first quarter from the kid.

Brockman looked pretty good with limited chances. Solid defensive pressure and a great mark.
Maginness seems to be tagging again but his offensive output has been good this game.
Sonsie also showed some pace and good tackling intent. Like the kid although his kicks have been a bit loopy.

They are losing one v ones and struggling to stay on their opponents. Werribee have banged it out of the back line a few times for them to win one contests on the wing and move it quickly afterwards with little resistance. They have to be better than that as it’s not like it is coming through the corridor unopposed every time.

Hawks were crushed in general play that Q. Small positives I think Greaves and Pepper have been solid. Downie showed some nice clean pickups and quick hands a few times, still needs to get more of it.
