Does anyone have any idea what kind of crowd will attend this weeks match against West Coast at ANZ Stadium?

I read somewhere that there has already been 40,000 tickets sold so im wondering how many people will buy tickets in the next few days and how many people will buy tickets when the arrive at ANZ Stadium on Saturday.

Doesn't include member entry though, does it ?

It'll probably reach the 60 000 + mark again. At least I hope it is.

Yea,reckon there will be at least 50k. And most of them will be going for the
Swans, cant see many eagles fans being there. On another note,it will be interesting to see if a lot of western suburbs fans turn out, considering the
debate surrounding the proposed location of a team there.

65k. Theres been a lot of advertising around Sydney.

wha-hey, GONG BOY!!!
how is it in the heart of the illawarra? are you going to the game?
what's the weather forecast? that's always important for games at homebush
if it's good, and with us in form and playing our nemeses, surely 60,000 isn't too much to ask
but i won;t be surprised if it's somewhere 40-45,000

forecast--partly cloudy light northeasterly breeze top of 25.
crowd--54,000

I genuinely dislike ANZ stadium, it's far away from the action and unless there is 60-65k people it just feels dead atmosphere wise, the facilities are top notch tho and it's so easy transport wise, but it just isn't suited to AFL as the SCG is as a spectacle.

I used to hate it, but lately i've been liking it alot more. I guess it's just good for a change. I like going somewhere other than the SCG all the time.

Yeah. I tend to take SCG for granted I think.

But nothing beats SCG under lights. Awesome :thumbsu:

Just realised, if Goodes stays injury free, the Ricmond game @ the SCG will be his 200th and I'm definitely going :D
