Interesting question.

At what point do should I be satisfied with a loophole VC? I had Cotch last week on 125 and left him. Then Gaz went on to score 182. I felt anything over 120 was good, any other input?

This week, vc Cotch, the captain tossing up between Selwood and Gablett. At this stage Gablett, as all opponents at this stage are looking to C him

pendles loop then Gaz

Swan VC
Gaz C
I see you're in denial about a bad starting pick :D

Vice captain is usually about taking a risk, if it doesn't pay off then you have Ablett/Pendles/Watson/Jelwood to go to as a safe captain.

It depends on how my team is going that round. If I'm struggling I wouldn't take anything under 125 from a VC. If I'm flying I'd probably take the 125 as to not ruin a great round by being too greedy.

Honestly I do not take anything under 140 from my VC if I have the C on Gazza. You really are not risking losing much, but certainly have the opportunity to gain a lot more. Gazza will almost always get a 120 at least. If you don't take say 135 from someone and get an off day from Gazza, you still get that 120. Only time I change that rule is when Gazza is playing Crowley, I mean Freo.

Swan has a pretty handy record against the tiges, I've certainly had worse ideas!

And with Beams out (in doubt:() Swan may actually get to the midfield

I don't have it at the moment, but I have a hunch that Stevie J is going to score a monster load of points against west coast this weekend.

Probably what I will do as well. I like the option of Gaz VC each week but with a saturday night game and my only real option after that is Watson (V Crowley) so Beams VC / Gaz C

Problem is I only have King as my loophole.

I'm going with Pendlebury VC, GAJ C. I would have really liked to have gone Sandilands VC if he was earlier than GAJ but I'm not game to put the C on him. He should win a ton of hitouts against us with no recognised ruckman but that doesn't always equate to massive points by itself (will certainly get 100+ though).

No Fyfe and Barlow means Sandi wont be getting a big score due to not many of his hitouts going to advantage just like last week.

Should still ton up though around 100-110 mark I'd say.
