First real taste of shit town all year.

Buddy & H Shaw....these two campaigners are really trying my patience....spudded 3 in a row now.

Heppell....2 in a row for him. Plodding along & for a captain needs to lift!!

Swallow....baffled. Suns dominate & he can't get a kick. WTF??

Obviously as a Crow supporter, watched the game closely ......Heppell was exhausted in the 3rd qtr and didn't have any run in his legs ......the 12 months off having an effect IMO

In the league with mates My opponent is 11 points up on me with Adams, Steele, Stef Martin and O'Maera (either Taranto's score or Parfitt's), and I've got Rance, Tuohy, Parfitt, and Roughead. Realistically am I any chance?

And in my bigfooty league I'm 52 up, I've got Treloar, Rance, Tuohy, Parfitt and my opponent has Adams, Steele, Stef Martin, T Mitchell. That'll be another interesting one.

Glad everyone else has joined my spud team in carnage town.

Just a question .....and i should know, given how long i've "participated" in Supercoach

If play gets the ball and kicks to a contest, what constitutes a turnover?

1. If an opposition player is outmarked by an opposition player ? .....turnover?

2. If the ball misses the team mate, going slightly over his head, to an opposition mark ...turnover?

3. An opposition player comes in and intercept marks ......turnover?

Way I've always understood it, effective disposals can be orthogonal to retained possession. A long kick to a no worse than 50/50 contest is effective but may or may not be retained. The kicker has done his job by putting it to a situation where his team is expected to halve he contest or better. Similarly you can kick to a 1-on-2 and your guy can halve or win the ball. Ineffective kick but can still get points for a score involvement or other good outcome.

You can still be charged with a turnover if your teammates stuff up the contest.

You have a slight chance in the first but his odds are better, 50/50 in the second, you need 2e to match or better steele in both

I feel paying 588k for 3 scores below 100 deserves a little rage.

I thought the Pies/Saints game was 1:40.

Lucky I found that out because I was considering going to it.

I reckon there will still be quite a few teams who avoided Swallow and Omeara and picked up Yeo, Murphy and Oliver for their teams.

Won't be the highest scoring round, but I think there will be a clear divide in scores.

My team continues to drag around the carcass of Cal Ward - former premo. What a nightmare. Oh, bonus, ran into T Lynch and L Neale in a league match-up. Grrrrrreat!

Looks like Yeo is playing a defined role in their side now, could finally breakout this season, playing a super sc friendly role in the backline. It remains to be seen if this will continue.
