Thinking

Kruezer --> Rowe
Docherty(:() --> Terlich just so i dont miss that boat

Would leave me with 520k in the bank. Definately want to do some upgrading next week though, need to be winning games early so i don't fall behind.

Question for everyone:

Anyone seriously interested in any of Mullet, Jack Steven or Howlett?

Mullett looks to be the pick of the bunch (haven't watched him play, which infuriates me, as I hate picking players without watching their gamestyle... so someone please tell me otherwise). He is the cheapest, and North has probably had the most quality opposition and they've lost all 3 matches, yet he's averaging ~100. (Collingwood, Geelong & Sydney)

Jack Steven another in that 95-100 bracket, maybe priced a little too high, and in a team that is going to be a little temperamental. Unsure if he will continue to score like this given Saints soft start (Gold Coast, Richmond, GWS). If you just need a minor price bump, he may suit your needs.

Howlett.... seems to be the forgotten man in the Essendon matches (which I have actually watched!). He seems to have been left completely free while the more "famous" names are all manned up or tagged, and Howlett can just ghost in (semi-Fyfe style, without the awesome jump) and get possessions at will. Not prolific, but certainly was consistently getting involved in link chains from one end of the field to the other. Essendon looking good this year, so he should continue to play in a winning side. Does that mean good scores? Who knows. He certainly won't attract a tag behind Watson, Stanton, Goddard, Heppell, etc.

I had Steven from the start, but swapped him for Libba this week (which went well.....) :oops:

In hindsight, Parker from the Swans would have been a better choice....

Nick Riewoldt to Westhoff.
Either Kommer or Stevens to Crouch or Jacobs to Goldstein depending on the MRP

I only started with Roo to make cash and by trading to Westhoff, the Hoff can serve the same purpose for me to trade to Buddy etc.

Jacobs annoyed the hell out of me last night and Goldstein is looking like a must have ruckman, but with the likelihood of Kommer being suspended and Stevens having a highish breakeven for his price, I might be forced to bite the bullet and bring Brad Crouch in for the cash.

Embley gtfo -> Crouch
Cox to fwds, PK -> Leuey

Fairly vanilla trades this week, but I bank 260k and can start on upgrades next week. Am hoping for a stronger week from my playing rookies (looking at you Whitfield, Jager bomb and Dwyer)

Zorko to Westhoff. Can you believe I actually reversed this trade last week!
Varcoe to Dwyer. Another round, another injured forward to move out... :oops:

Not sure whether to get on the Crouch or Sinclair train. The obvious says Crouch, but all my mid rookies are at least playing and making dollars. My forwards bench is Karnezis and Macaffer, so I really have no emergency there. I think much will depend on team selection this week for me.

Either going to go

Kruz > Leuy and Toumpas > Pendles

or

Kruz > Leuy and Toumpas > Crouch

Should I wait one more week for my premo addition and get Crouch? or do I just get Pendles now and miss out on the Crouch boat? Really not sure which way to go, bloody kruz getting injured stuffed everything up.

I think that's the predicament most are in at this point in DT - deciding when to pull the trigger. At this point I'm leaning towards further downgrades this week, which will mean I get two premiums in next*

*Touching wood for no injuries.

Also secretly hoping the Hoff spuds it up, I'm passing on that one.

Apparently his BE is - 20, so I'll be very interested to see such a significant amount of spudding......

I would like to add in the 2 premo's next week but will have to fit Mayes in as well if he performs again..... So will only get the 1.

I will advise people what trades I am making to allow people enough time to not trade these players into their side... That way assuring themselves they have made the correct selection.... :oops:

All very well and good that his BE is -20, however a score of 60 is still considered 'spudding it up'.

With his role he is playing in our team, even having a bad game he is still going to score points!

Agree, but a short term bit of pain for the longer term gain is still potentially beneficial....

I have Varcoe, Daw, (possibly) MacCaffer and (possibly) Pittard all not playing next week. Will probably go Varcoe > Rowe and maybe Daw > Sinclair if he gets a game. I don't have Crouch but will probably get more benefit out of the trades I mentioned than I will from downgrading Viney, O'Maera or Anderson to Crouch.

Westhoff boat has sailed. He's got GC this week too:(
