Need to pick a VC with 150+ potential, otherwise there will be temptation to stick with Danger if our VC goes 120-130

Guys for someone who's relatively fresh to SC, could someone explain to me the purpose of the VC? At the moment I've just chucked the captaincy to Danger and left it as is with Fyfe as VC, but I've got Dusty And Murphy kicking about as well. Is there some sort of loophole I'm missing out on here?

You need a non playing player to put on the ground and wack the big C on who also plays after your VC.

Strnadica loophole makes it tough to VC. Hoping Stewart/Pickett get dropped to open up some options, otherwise might have to VC Dahl.
Ideally would be Fyfe/Murphy into Danger.

If my current playing/non playing situation continues then Nic Newman might debut as the Vice Captain - though he has to contend with Oliver Florent - if the latter beats out Brett Eddy and Jarrod Pickett at F6.

Danger loves playing the hawks and based on yesterday he could have 60 disposals and kick 5 goals against them. I will be very reluctant to take less than 140 from VC this week knowing he plays the last game of the week.

Exactly this. It's the worst thing about ultra premo perma captain DangerGod playing in the final match of the round

Otherwise it'll be JPK in to Danger as I only have Strnadica as a loophole.

Not much point with a VC this round though, as Steve mentioned. Dangerfield absolutely annihilated us on the Easter Monday clash last year, I expect him to go full pig and score 150+ with relative ease. We are so unaccountable at the moment, it's sickening to watch.

Problem here is that cats play on Monday. Even if he's in the 25 they don't have to finalise their line up until Saturday afternoon.
