Round 5 trades

I was getting pretty woeful scores from some of my forwards so they were the first priority for me. I've done my round 5 trades and got rid of Jarman Impey and Sam Frost who were scoring 50s only. I have three premium defenders and two who scored low for me last week in Langdon and Griffiths. Next week I'll cash in someone like Xavier Ellis and I should be able to get Matthew Jaensch, who's scoring 90s.

Ive left Rohan at the moment because surely he'll scrape past 200k at some point and at the moment he's a useful F8 in as usefull as an f8 can be

Anybody else struggling with Tom Mitchell? He scored 90+ for the first two rounds, though hasn't been in the mids for the last two. Didn't this happen last year as well? Tempted to take a risk and hope he's rotated back through the middle. His round 10 bye is also nice.

One of my favourite non-Eagles players. He is tough as guts so he can get the ball on the inside and tackle and he's got incredible endurance so he can link up on the outside for +6's all day long. Loves kicking a goal as well.

If he wasn't the same bye as Johnson, Selwood, Pendlebury and Ablett (who I have none of in RDT) I'd be bringing him in post Round 8 bye. Possibly might bring him in for RDT in the lead up to Round 10.

My thoughts just keep changing by the day, no doubt they'll be different at 6:30pm tomorrow...

rdt - Tempted to jump on Lloyd this week (along with Crouch) so I can get on 2 more rookies next week. Robertson, Cutler, Cripps, Gray all on the bubble next week assuming they play and they look like solid options. Decision will be made easier if there aren't too many decent kids named to debut this week. Kinda just hoping the rest of the competition will be starved of decent downgrade targets whilst I have a massive cash advantage (already have a sizeable amount in the bank) across the byes in order to gain spots and I'm able to generate even more cash with better quality of rookies in the long run. Need to try something.

In fantasy Cotchin has been bringing in too many low scores, decided to trade him for Macrae while I will still come out on the positive with that trade. It's also an advantage with the byes. Traded Impey as well and brought in Higgins. I'm skating on thin ice with only $52K spare, I'd better cash in a reserve next week. Or if my team performs and some rookies are brought in I may cash in two reserves and leave the playing team as it is.

In RDT I have to get rid of Mumford for Jacobs. Macrae's a bit cheaper there so I can bring him in for Cotchin. I'm not as hard up for good forwards in RDT as I am in fantasy.

HepD vs. Rocky vs. Kane vs. Boak

Rocky is the most popular, I try to go for uniques.

Help pls. Can't split them. Boak offers so much value and will score big if teams start tagging Ollie and Hamish. HepD looks set for a breakout year but can he sustain it? Kane keeps producing but is the most expensive. Rocky is a DT jet - but less unique and what if he goes forward such as in R1...
