I think you're overstating the whole "Gawn dominated and only got 113" thing.
Given the quirks of SC scoring (or the so and so was robbed and so and so got KOTD theory as alot of folks call it) this happens sometimes.
Look at the distribution of scores : despite Dees winning the game, the Swans were on top for around 3/4 of the game and thus only 2 Dees tonned up while 5 Swans did so. There's only 3300 points to go round and that can result in players not getting the scores we think they maybe should.
What Gawn loses in ruck time to Preuss he'll more than likely gain from intercept marks down back, contested marks and goals fwd.
And he's yet to hit his straps for around the ground influence, I rekon he's still got another level to go this season.

+1 balta >rob

? Why are you trading moore out?
I don't think he has much more (pardun the pun) to make plus I have next to nothing in the bank at the moment.

I want to build up a kitty for next week to do possibly upgrade Sheed to a premo if he spuds it up again this week.

Points SSwans2011 for a genuine strategy

What does ROB need to score over next 6 weeks to justify the move?
70 and the trade will have achieved its purpose. 80 and it will be a big win.

Fair point. That being said, I still thought Gawn was the difference and statistically it was a very, very complete game.

Even if he could have scored more he won't get circumstances nearly as good over the next 5 weeks looking at the Dees' schedule.

And that's why you're in your current position ......you have to make aggresive moves

Last week I trade Brad for Neale

Brad's ceiling is 110-115 in any given week ......Cripps is 150-170

That 40-60 point variance can make a huge difference to ranking & wins ......you're batting against teams with Cripps as Captain, you can't win
Brad = 105 av
Cripps = 125 av
20 points difference. Worth ~100k excepting C scored.

Would't base long term plans around pretending Cripps is gonna post a 170 every week.

In all fairness, the trade itself came naturally.

The rest was a result of boredom and wanting to impress strangers on the internet.

I'd be very impressed if you made that trade.

Thoughts on doing a Roughead manoeuvre with O'Brien/Bines?

Sauce apparently will find out tomorrow if he needs surgery on his knee, if he needs surgery then ROB will be a must have, but the forwards could be depleted this week and having a donut in Bines there structurally will hurt, but the cash potential is enormous too, once ROB peaks in price dump back for Binesy (Setterfield can loophole next two weeks)

Hhmmmmm...

I'm seriously thinking Sheed > perhaps Hopper THIS week. I want him gone.
Sheed had his 15 mins of fame and its now back to mediocrity where he belongs.

I look at Sheed in my midfield and i'm seeing this staring back...

What's with all the Williams trade outs? What were you expecting? Seagull type numbers? He was averaging 92 before last round for a 400k defender. One shit game and he's gone?
I can understand wanting to get Shitfield or a cheapish Laird, but I'd much rather get a rookie off the field than trade Williams, as it gets u closer to a full team quicker that way.
GWS have a decent run coming up and wasn't he minding one GAJ last week?

Assuming sauce out - which 2 bubble boys?
Mumford v rob onfield via lycett
Marshall v stack
ROB and Marshall.

Matter of time before Mummy hurts himself or gets rubbed out. Go Marshall now and get Ross next week.

All this trading Gawn out talk is making me extremely happy. Easier to climb the ranks. It’s as if Heeney never happened. Love it. 😍
