Only been to two Adelaide games in my life. Last year's, and the belting at the end of 2009 :( Really hope we beat them Saturday so I can finally be at a win against them.

Good Memories:

Kouta's debut game at PP, came on in the 2nd quarter and kicked a nice goal and done a couple of good things and remember thinking this kid looks promising....
Harry Madden's Yarran type running goal in the 93 semi final
Braddles kicking 5 in the same game
Smacking them in 2001 Elimination Final, Lappin 5 goals, undefeated against them in finals
Fev's goal in 2004
All the stars we have got from SA which cuts the croweaters to the bone Sticks, Braddles, Motley, Naley, Camporeale, McKay, Gibbs

Bad Memories:

Modra kicking 13 on us in rd 1 of 94, played everyone on him just about
Waite doing his knee against them over there
Brett Burton jumping all over us for MOTY
Numerous hidings they handed out to us over the years

Has to be my classic memory of Adelaide, we where behind the goal when Harry came galloping towards us and kicked the goal, everyone just flew out of there seats, fantastic !

Plus we won

Hope this week we belt them, create another bit of history

Their was a game in the early 2000's I think when Gary Ayres was still coaching.
Massive storm and lightening in the surrounding areas of Carlton. The one and only day I thought a game
could be abondoned for weather. I remeber sitting in the social club seeing lightning strikes over the tops
of the grandstands....

Think I remember that one also HBF, gave them a bit of a start early and tried our guts out to reel them in getting close but not quite making it.

That's the one.
I know that Ayres was under pressure to hold his job and his players really rallied for him.
As Ayres walked accross the ground after the game, he was mobbed by every single Crows player.

Ricciuto was influential for them and Ratten was good for us, conditions were tailored made for both.

Reckon you are right about Ayres also.

The two best memories are...

- Mid-season '95 when we came back from five goals down in the third quarter after swinging Silvagni forward, shows how powerful we were at the time
- 1998 at Football Park when Ratten's left foot snap from the pocket sealed victory, such an unexpected victory against the reigning premiers

I remember in that game Ricciuto pretty much body slammed Whitnall into the ground. Pretty much picked him up. He was huge for them that day.
