Round 6 Captain

Ok my options this week - C.Cornes , Bradshaw , Ablett , Bartel or Franklin.
All week was going to go Bradshaw. What do you think

I was leaning toward Bradshaw as well, but the more I think about it, the more I like Bartel.

I think Bradshaw is a potential high risk / high reward this week so could be really good or really average, but Bartel will have to stand in line with Ablett, Corey, Ling etc. for the ball.

Still not sure.

Now I'm really confused.

Was going Ablett all the way, but those arguing for H Shaw make some good points.

Other considerations are: Cornes, Brown , Buddy, Kornes.
Still leaning towards Ablett...just.

Actually tbh I'm not sure about captain.

Its Chad at AAMI. However its raining. Last time it was raining at AAMI it was Q4 PA vs Brisbane and Chad scored -2 for the quarter and PA got pumped.

Shaw has dominated the last 2 Anzac day matches. Its a fine day at the G.

Decisions, Decisions.

Anzac Day last year was my highest ever SC score thanks to Cap'n Shaw's 350- around 2470 if I remember correctly. The warm glowing feeling that gives me is compelling. But Brown/Bradshaw vs Dees is still getting me excited in an unseemly way as well. Don't want to give the Chad any encouragement against us by picking him again- I've got a tenner riding on this game (thank you Walesly for encouraging me to start gambling on football matches- is there no end to your depravity?)

Just drafted Judd into my squad so now I have Judd, Franklin, C.Cornes, J.Brown, M.Pavlich and D.Bradshaw as my main choices for captain.

I have no idea, REPEAT no idea who to pick.

Tempted to go Juddy for his consistancy and Franklin for being a super freak, but Brown and Bradshaw could rip Melbourne a new ar5ehole and C.Cornes is C.Cornes despite his average game last week and is back at AAMI stadium.

Who would you pick for captain out of these guys if you were me?

I'd pick Cornes. By a whisker over Judd. Some of the others you get the feeling they'll kill it this w/end, but you don't take any chances with captain IMO. Cornes and Judd are the safest I reckon.

I've just spent the last 20 minutes or so swapping between Brown and Bradshaw and Heathshaw rolleyes. I am currently working on a trade which MAY see both Judd and Franklin joining my squad this week, so that will bugger things up even more.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, heathshaw at the G on Anzac Day made me a very happy man last year, so there's a big chance he'll end up getting the guernsey, but jeez the two big brisbane b-boys are mighty tempting. I guess the one thing that is stopping me is the fear that only one of them will go nuts, and I'll pick the other one

Juddy is probably the safest bet, so I guess it comes down to the size and chemical makeup of your cojones (to paraphrase the wise man). Or is that wise ass?

edit- just noticed Chadly- yeah- Juddly or Chadly for the safe bets...

Nah haven't picked captain yet mate. I'm thinking of going judd, not sure why, well yes I do. Heres my reasons -

Franklin - If wet could struggle to kick 8 or 9 goals

Brown and Bradshaw - If wet could struggle a bit and also scared of picking wrong one

C.Cornes - Just disappointed from last week with him

Cox - Would like to see him go for one or two more weeks before I think he's back

Yep- that's who's currently lit up on my team board. To be honest if any of the others score big it's not the end of the world- my league opponent this week and I only share a couple of these guys, so the chances of the same captain are slim (plus the fact that he's got Bartel...), and they're still big scores...

I don't have shaw so the choice was easier for me I guess.

I have a worrying feeling j.brown or franklin or even c.cornes will even make me look stupid now that I have judd as captain. Its good old murphy law! Just hope its not j.brown cause my bro has him as captain. I have him too but not as captain obviously.
