It's really hard to tell but Rioli lays a bump and the bloke yells out 'well done Rioli you........' it could go either way and there is no way to tell. I'm of the opinion that someone would have said something or the media would be all over it if he did end it with a racist remark.

I have constantly stated win/loss column is just a small part of it all and i personally look at other kpi's as more credible indicators.

Was you pleased with the standard of play against Carlton Collingwood wce and Melbourne in partcular i was not, even the BL game it was not great. Lok at where these sides are at as well none of them outside of the Crows are travelling well .Wce have won 4 games and look ordinary indeed.

Yeah we won 5 but it is just my opinion we could easily be 2 -4 3-3.
I actually believe there is not a lot more upside to us and when injuries do hit it will not be pretty.The reliance and real dependence on just a small handful staying fit is scary.

As supporters there are only two views we think we are a good side who can challenge or we think we are an average side who can be competetive most of the time.

To me its all about things like List, Depth, Quality, structure etc etc rather than just focusing on the win/loss column. outside of better tackling pressure and going a bit more direct i dont really see any significant improvement.
We have not had real injury problems again, we lack depth in so many areas there remains a dearth of quality outside of 4 or 5 and the structure is horrid imo and wont hold up under serious pressure.Everything is going our way atm and we still look ordinary.

So there you have it some sort of an understanding why i am not impressed with our 5-1 start. why people would get depressed over these thoughts and observations is beyond me maybe they need to start looking at things other than the win loss column.

I don't think a lot do see it .. only have to read the VFL threads while we've been winning.
A lot are convinced we have dozens beating down the door to step up and replace someone when in actual fact it's limited basically to Miles and Lloyd.
We have some midfield, or should I say, outside depth - or more like options - but there's none in the key area of rucks and more drastically talls.
Reality is there is a good percentage of blokes on our list who will take our reserves team a long way .. see Morris. S, Batchelor. J, Lennon. B, Ellis. C, Hunt. T.

Dont believe im stopping anyone from being happy and glad we have won 5 games.
In fact was over the moon with the Melbourne win despite the obvious complaints and like everyone like winning more than losing
But when the dust settles and we have serious discussion on what we think and believe then im going to be straight down the line if it differers to other peoples opinion im apologise but thats just the way it is.

Rance has not been close to his best, Dusty has been hampered by injury for 3 weeks, Vlaustins output is down in his new role, Caddy and Prestia are both playing below where they have in the past (let alone going above that), Brellis is being used more as a defender for some reason, Edwards/Griff are out and then we have 10-15 young/inexperienced players that are looking promising but have huge potential to improve both playing AFL currently and in the VFL.
How many players are actually at their best over the last few weeks? Cotch, Jack, Grigg? Anyone else?
