1. The hot water girl, probably deserves 5 actually.
She gets one from me.:D

All joking aside, the following came out of the game with their heads held high:

5. Warnock: dominated the ruck, consistently giving us first use of the ball & his ground work was quite good as well.
4. Judd: if it wasn't for Judd we wouldn't have been close enough to challenge in the last quarter.
3. Walker: wasn't able to have the same impact as previous weeks due to needing to adopt a more defensive mindset, but still did a good job & kicked a memorable goal.
2. Jamo: after him & Hendo were worked over by Roo early on, he quelled some of Roo's influence in the latter part of the game.
1. Hendo: in one quarter almost got us over the line with some footy nous in the forward line.

BNB: Cachia: almost put him in the votes as he was probably only bettered by Judd in the midfield. Is going to be a very handy player to have up our sleeve as an injury replacement in the midfield.

5. Warnock - dominated the taps. 14 disposals is great for a big man. Most importantly 92.9% efficiency on a day when a lot of his teammates couldn't hit the side of a barn.
4. Walker - tried hard, strong at the contest. 20 disposals. 4 R50s and 5 I50s indicating he ran hard. Ripper goal!
3. Judd - leading possession getter. Efficiency was way down so almost wasn't going to get in my votes. 7 tackles is what swung it for me. I remember Judd sprinting back to try to get to his opponent who was doing a run past to get the ball on 50. Haven't seen that for a while.
2. Armfield - 25 disposals is great for Dennis, though they were scrappy in the heat of the contest. He gutsed it out.
1. Henderson - just for those 3 goals and that last quarter hope. Was smashed by Riewoldt prior to that though.

Unlucky - Scotland who had 21 touches at 81% accuracy, one of the few who made me feel safe, although he wasn't in heavy traffic. Take a look at our team efficiency this week. McLean 38.9%, 7 players under 60%. 70% is a good DE for a contested ball winner, let alone an uncontested one. We had 9 players above 70%, Saints had 13.

BNB: Cachia - 19 disposals in 74% game time. Options thin on the ground this week.

5. Henderson - Worked hard on Roo in the first half, and almost pinched it for us in the second
4. Walker - Down on previous weeks, but his run from D50 is spectacular, and now has a nomination for GOTY
3. Warnock - Don't appreciate how good he is when you see him live at the ground. Very solid performance
2. Judd - Stood up when Murphy was injured in the 1st quarter
1. Armfield - Always gives 110%. Love his run and carry

BYP - Cachia. Certainly worth persisting with. Potentially a replacement for Carrazzo when he hangs up the boots.
