But Pav will have the ball bucketing down on him every 30 seconds and is bound to take a few grabs

pav should be too good even for 2-3 melb defenders

Why? The sample will be too small and I would imagine it would have no effect on Kane at all, last time Chad missed most likely he was in the backline.

Kanes stats against Essendon are fantastic.
Essendon playing unaccountable football and second most points against.
Kane certain captain for me.

Im going towards bartel by an inch over pavlich, only because forwards have burned me in the past, they can get shocking scores, whereas bartel is guaranteed to get at least a 70 on a bad day.

With Chornes out, Cox injured, Cross playing Sydney and BJ and JB both out of form, I have no guns. So I'm taking a risk and going with Salopek against Essendon, which should be a free-flowing game that will help his scores.

Probably Pavlich, but i might take a risk and put Cox. He will get 30+ hitouts this week against our ruckman for sure, especially if Hampson isn't picked.

Cox is a near certainty to play, was in the Herald Sun today, so it looks like it could be 'The Big Pelican' for me.
