How do u figure they are going to score an extra 600 points? If u traded gaj for pendles and gaj scores 150 for the next 4 weeks and pendles scores 140 for the next 4 weeks your only 40 points down, but then factor in the last 2 weeks of pendles, versus the zero of gaj ( obviously a rookie took his spot) and really points wise its pretty even, just a matter of trades and each persons team structure.... that is if you can work that out????

I'll explain it further when I have time but when Gazza was out I upgraded a rookie for Pendlebury instead of using a straight swap. Now I have both, instead of only the Pendlebury that most traded in for Ablett.

Whats peoples thoughts on Sidebottom as Captain?
Raines will be either tagging Swan or Pendles while Sidebottom who has been scoring well will roam free.

Thoughts?
Yeah, seems to get a dump load of ball. Not often scores big over 100. So I think that is putting people off.
Im going with Swan. Does anyone think Swan will be tagged or will the more damaging Pendlebury will get the tag?
ATM Im going Swan over JSelwood.

I have both Pendles and Yabblet, but I think I will stick the Big C on Pendles again this week, just till Abblet is 100%, as he may be rested a bit during the game as others have said.

That's Outside the square which could be a good idea although i'd prefer Beams if you've got him. In saying that Swan and Pendles are continually tagged and still post fine scores on a regular basis. If your courageous i say go for it and like you said he seems to scoring well and has come of age this season. Interesting none the least.

I've been in your situation previously and good luck with trying to get him back in.
On the bolded part. Gazza is never out of form.

The people who held onto him are likely to gain about 600 more points in the next 4 weeks better off than anybody else, if you can work that out. Unless of course he get's injured again or the off chance that he turns up with binoculars. Time will tell though.
Considering I went Ablett > Pendles

Pendlebury has delivered 140 and 145, my M7 rookie woulda scored 60-70 each week, which means I am currently about 150 points up. Plus an extra 25 or so per round for having Pendles captain rather than having Murphy or someone else. If Ablett outscores Pendlebury by 200 over the time it takes me to get him back, ill say I was wrong, but I seriously doubt he will.

Edit: Would also love to see your maths on how Ablett is netting you 600 MORE points over 4 weeks... are you suggesting Ablett is going to average 150 more per week than the premium he was traded for? Even if he is captain and so its double points, it is laughable to suggest he will average 75 more points per week than the premium people swapped him for given that player is likely to be averageing in the 120 range, good luck Ablett scoring 195 per week.

I would go Ablett, obviously, but I am a little skeptical this week. Therefore, Pendles will get the nod versus the Lionesses, a team he usually toys with to great individual success.

Firstly with Pendlebury (as a eg:) in as a straight swap for Ablett. i'm still gaining 160 points over the 4 weeks as you no longer have Ablett in your side and he isn't your captain. This is based on current averages.

I still have Ablett and traded Pendles in at his lowest price using a rookie so therefore i still get pendles total like you do.

Your using a rookie as your extra mid which prob ave 70 while i have the extra premium in Pendles 130. There is another gain for me of 240, which brings my score margin up to 400.

The other 200 points is an estimate of Ablett absolutely carving up GWS and Pendles having a 100 score in the next 4 games, and your rookie also having 1 down game.

Remember not everybody traded Ablett to Pendles, so the extra score will range between 500 and 600.

Ablett will be unattainable without either waiting for a cow to peak or making between 2 to 3 trades.

This is my assumption and is relative speculation that probably won't equate to my prediction but time will tell.

This probably never made sense to anybody but i have an idea of what i'm trying to say.

I'm quite happy to be proven wrong and told i'm an idiot.

What are the chances that Ablett will get nursed back into it? The coach has already said he’ll probably play up forward, if they’re safely in front I’m a bit worried he’ll get subbed.

Most people would have gained two premiums by selling Ablett, so the only thing you have gained on them is 1 trade

1 premium unless they already had cash in the kitty.

I've had it on Franklin all week but I'm starting to bottle it. Anyone think it's going to rain?

Pendlebury's the back up if it starts to drizzle pre 7.50pm!

I'll stick with Pav until he lets me down.

As for Yablett, no way is he getting 130+ this week. He'd have to:

Play
Not get subbed
Not spend most of his time forward
Be close to 100% fit

Just too many boxes to tick.....

Captain out of Deledio, Murphy, J Selwood, Kennedy (Syd) or Franklin?

Of those Murphy or Franklin.

I need help of my own, right now I have Ablett set but I'm just not confident. Don't have Pendles or Swan to go to against Brissy so that leaves my choices out of Scott Selwood, Brent Stanton, Sam Mitchell, Franklin, Deledio, Pav, Shaw and Cox. Lots of potential big scores there but hardly any guarantees. If I don't get a response before lockout I'll just leave Ablett.

Made Big Cox the capt this week.

- No Nata
- Will Destroy Bellchambers in the ruck & around the ground
- Should kick a few

Hopefully a 150+!

The game against sydney in which he got 200 was 38 touches and 2 goals. He could easy get ten touches per 1/4 playing between the forward line and midfield and 2 goals try 10!
