Yes, surely - would very obviously make no sense at all to take Lang and not play him, after all the banging-on about having to gain match fitness, etc - so the question then is why the shenanigans? Why not simply name him in the first place? Is this really the trump card that will see the Crows' planning and preparation thrown into disarray?

I'm here to assure you that we don't plan for our opposition at all. Our opposition analyst followed Woosha to Essendon, there's no evidence that he was replaced.

Well yeah, we'd kick a behind and then have to wait for them to kick it back into play.
Probably still concede a red time goal.

Hey guys. Forgive the intrusion.

I know the optimism has understandably been low, but I don't think the game is going to be as one sided as some of you think. Crows have been in average form and we have as many out injured as you guys. Arguably, your outs are much more important to your team than our outs (and we're saved by some handy depth), but we have our fair share out too: Smith, Crouch, Hartigan, Taylor Walker, Sloane, David Mackay, plus more. Not making early excuses, just saying that it's not going to be the stomping some are predicting. Also noting that there's a high chance of rain during the game too, keeping any scores relatively low.

For me, I desperately want to win this one. A mate of mine is an extremely passionate Blues fan, and I'll absolutely cop it if we lose this one. :)

Also noting the last time we beat you in Adelaide was 2009!:eek::eek:

Hoping for a good, fair game. Good luck. :)

Except we've played our best footy with Mackay missing or sitting on the bench concussed. Sadly, he's come up for this game, so a rare piece of good injury news for Blues fans.

If we lose, and I want a win as much as anyone, I’d love to see the club call a press conference. Media would smell blood and go nuts. At that presser we wheel out everybody. The board, the prez, the players, Bolts, all of em. And we state clearly, that we know where we are at right now, we have a plan, we know where we wanna be and we will not deviate from that plan and that we are united as a club.
Get on the front foot against these idiots...
Oh, then everybody can belt out the song.
Just so we don’t forget how it goes...
Kane Cornes : "act of desperation"
Damien Barrett: " i'm hearing from sources within the club"
Caro: "what have they got to hide?"

Quick training report/random thoughts:
Wasn't really training, quick run around and then to meet the supporters. All over in less than an hour. Didn't even have the lights on.
Great to see a good turnout with lots of families and kids present.
Didn't see Lang
One player came out with cupping marks all over his back, interesting (think it was Cripps or someone with similar body shape)
SPS and Garlett were popular with the Crowd. There were a couple of Aboriginal families so I made sure their kids got pics with both of them. Neese can be bossy when needed.
Simmo moved too quickly for me to sing Happy Birthday to him for tomorrow. Probably a good thing for him.
Ladies votes (bestie and me) - Kerridge, Simmo and Kennedy ;)
Dow looks 12
Harry is huge, a man now
Told Lochie we loved his kicking and got a huge grin from him
Asked Kennedy how his ankle was and he said it is getting better every week and he just wants to be out there helping.
There is real comradeship amongst the players.
Supporters I spoke to were pretty upbeat.
We did laugh at Bolton talking in between Harry and Levi.
Didn't get to speak to Bolton unfortunately.

Sloane and Walker out is good for us.

ooh, yeah, that av is awesome, particular on May the 4th....lol. I might photoshop that one for myself? :)

Mate, you sound like a superb human being. Might I entice you with a Carlton membership? I'm sure you love Eddie, Sauce, and Bryce? We have other players too, that haven't gone to Adelaide. A couple of them probably won't go back to Adelaide and the only way you'll enjoy them is to join us (Matty Wright, and Kerridge say hi). Come on board :)

P.s. Give Eddie a hug and tell him we love him.

Haha I appreciate the kind words!

I will admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for Carlton, maybe because of the players we’ve gained. But my Carlton-supporting-mate has dragged me over to Melbourne for a couple of Carlton games, and somehow I’ve ended up sitting in the cheer squad every time, even while I was wearing my Crows jumper, the Carlton fans were always friendly and fun. Had a great time a couple of years back watching you guys smash Collingwood, watching them melt was glorious. :D

Still really like Kedge (for single handedly winning us a couple of games against North) and I always loved Matty Wright.

Thanks for the report!

That cupping shit can really hurt when you have sore spots.

Carlton supporters are great. Although we have had our arrogance beaten out of us over the last two decades.

Hutchy: “clearly the AFL must now act and not allow any more Fri or Sat night games for the Blues!”
Juddy: “stfu dip-shit. How many ****in times do I have to explain it to you”
Caro: “sorry Hutchy, I agree with Chris....you are a ****-wit”

Well there wasn't a structured training so you just get my thoughts, sorry.
All good, daughter of my sibling.

Ha.

That is funny.

I have noticed Caro being rather chuffed sitting next to CJ.

She's got a massive crush on him.
