Only one until the byes, hope your teams are almost set.

Teams are up, haven't gone through them all yet but Hickey and Dunstan out.

Aaaagghhh!!!

..... and Langford, and Hanley, and S Gray, and LRT, and Franklin, and Gleeson and Griffiths!!!

Aw man... I have Mackie, Ellis, Hunter, Griffiths, Dunstan, Currie and Ambrose. Looks like almost my entire bench is out (or sub risk in the case of Hunter).

Question is, should I trade Hunter now since his price will take a further dive if he is sub again, or should I trade out one extra donut? Hoping to bring in Cutler and Hallahan as I need some cash and I'm not really that well set up for byes (currently 17/23/20, and that doesn't include the outs!).

After last week, I'm actually scared about where I'll land after downgrades. :S

I had less donuts then you but traded out Griffiths & Hunter. Massive sub risk and if lsat week happens alot of lost cash. My zeros currently are Langford, Dunstan (both best 22 so hoping for a 1 week layoff), Ambrose (plyaing VFL this week so if he dominates might be in next week) & currie.

To make it worse I dont think Lloyd from the Tigers will make the cut either....

Can't decide on a forward to buy. Around the Robbie Gray/Ben Mcglyn mark. Any suggestions?

Dalhouse looks the most solid in my opinion. Lynch is another decent option. So hard to choose!

Dahlaus is looking the best pick but many people are jumping on him, so Lynch might be a good pod.

To up and down last year for my liking. Personally, I had him last year at the start and made some money. This year, at that price I would want to see consistency.

Has a good high score though. Harvey or Gunstan for consistency is a better POD.

Absolutely no choice but to hold Langford, Ellis, Gleeson and Ambrose in the hope that some of them will be back next week. My entire bench is red dots... Bye structure is set if these guys can get back in.

Any word on them? I'll have to hit up their team boards I guess, see what I can find out.

Langford will be back next week for Sydney, is being rested.

Gleeson and Ambrose are a good chance to line up next week. Worth holding, IMO.

Ellis will probably be back next week.

At this stage i'll be holding all 4 and using this weeks trades to move Rd 8 players to Rd 9 players in preparation for the byes. My thinking is that Cotchin is definitely out next week, Gleeson is 50/50. I'm better off trading Cotchin to Hallahan and seeing if Gleeson comes back next week before trading him.

Why are you trading out Cotchin?

Rd 8 Bye. Don't want too many of them. I've seen some teams with 4-5 players in the midfield... Good luck to them.

Cotch' is pretty average this year anyway. I'd much rather Pendles, Barlow or Ebert.

Edit: This is basically the same strategy as guys dropping Jelwood before the byes. Round 8 bye + under-performing= drop.

Thought this was pretty standard?
