My hunch to trade out Merrett for Dahlhaus this week seems to have been a good one...

Though given it was between him, N. Riewoldt, and Zorko, it wasn't exactly an enormous consolation.

At least I'm not the only one who's having a shit weekend. Fantasy was saved a bit with Burgoyne, Suckling, Shaw, Higgins, Beams, Dangerfield, Langdon and Polec but you wouldn't think it possible to have 7 tons, a 99 and a 98 out of 17 and get 17/1444. That's 8/463 from the rest, who included Riewoldt, Westhoff, Zorko and Merrett. I was also forced to play Georgiou(15) as Langford was injured. And I wasn't one of the coaches who had the bad luck of having Mitchell and Jaensch subbed out. Although they are both in my RDT, which is even worse at 17/1292. Didn't have Shaw, Burgoyne, Higgins and Dangerfield in that although I had all the bad scorers.

Coming up to the first bye so Pendles goes for Montagna and Selwood for Stanton.

No one has had worse luck than me.

Two weeks ago I traded Langdon for Jaensch instead of ben griffiths. Langdon has gunned it since and Griffiths has been a ****ing dud. Also got in Fasolo for shaun higgins and he gave me that 20, higgins has been firing. Had Georgou covering Griffiths cause Langford is also out. He got concussed then subbed. Had Mitchell and Merrett also. I hung onto Mumford all this time then traded him this week, only for Derickxz to get 75 and match Ryder who I traded in (suited bye structure). ****kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Finally something is going my way. Steve Johnson(C) has scored 57 in the first quarter. I'll still lose 2, possibly all 3 leagues in RDT as I had 3 subbed players (Mitchell, Jaensch and Georgiou) and also had Riewoldt, Merrett and Westhoff. But I may just manage to scrape 2000 in fantasy and win a few leagues.

Thank god for that - no pun intended. Huge 71 pt 2nd half saved me from a horrific score. Still looking like sub 2000 with Jelwood stinking up for 3rd week in a row
