While the umps are making sure everything is fair and right in the world and the right children contest the ruck, more and more players crowd the ball and turn it into a hybrid game of bandana wearing Walley Lewis wannabes and the pissed campaigners from Big Footys SC board trying out their best Chris Judd at full pace at the stoppage after 20 cans impersonations.

It's not hard to fix. Just throw the ****en ball up straight away, the players will soon stop wasting energy trying to get to contests in time and hang back leaving space for a game of footy to happen.

The interesting part about this is I may drag out a 2300 despite myself - Keeffe on field because I didn't pay attention, Walters and Buddy on the bench. With 2 trades in the offing this week I could easily hit the 2450s.

Maybe it might of been better taking the 30k Or spending 20k getting duman or Cole.

Only really terrible scores have been Finlayson and Doedee but I've got a few below average scores as well.

Dusty, Higgins, Fyfe, Gawn, Billings, Savage, Geary, Grundy, Murray and Stephenson (will back him in to score more than Holman's 70).

Hoping Gawn doesn't go huge today as a couple of my opponents have him captain while I went with Mitchell.

Also hoping Billings can finally punch out a premo worthy score, I decided not to trade him as I didn't have the cash to upgrade him and at 400k there was no one better to sideways trade him to so I've just got to back him in to turn his form around.

Yes i agree .....the mistake i made last year, was never having any $$$$ in the bank, i'd trade a player then use everything on an upgrade .....this plus upgrading too soon, to players who actually scored worse than who they replaced

This year, i'm focusing much more on $$$ generation & a bit more patience ......proving to be better, thus far
