imo all our emergencies should be playing ahead of some individuals named in the side for the clash against the eagles.

i thougth Bentick did ok last week, glad to see he is still in.

didn't Kreuzer get flogged in the ruck last week? maybe he should spend this year in the Ants and learn.

Fair enough but what have any of those emergencies done in their time in the firsts to warrant senior selection? I personally don't think Edwards, Hampson or Phieffer have done much to date.
Pretty happy with the team this week, looking forward to seeing Ellard

Kreuzer in the Ants all year? Get off the ice mate. He has more talent in his little finger than plenty on the Carlton list. Plying his trade in the seniors is a great way to learn. There were far senior players to him last Saturday who had worse games.

He has done some good things, but for all Carlton's talk pre-season of not pushing him too hard, and giving him a chance to develop; they throw him in as soon as he was ready as a second, and at times first ruckman.

If Kruezer is in the team, I think his place should be as a forward, and he should be competing with Setanta and Edwards for that spot.

Hampson should be our first choice to take the second ruck spot.

Sentanta can play down back, Kruezer can help in ruck if needed, and Edwards is the more natural forward of the lot. So who to play? Well that should be decided week to week on form, and I would be happy to see them all compete and rotate in and out of the side this year.

To be playing Browne, Ellard, Kruezer, Wiggins, Russell, Bentick, and Sentanta in the one side is a huge step back for us I think. All should play senior footy this year at some point, but at the same time is a recipe for defeat.

Agree with what another poster said. All three emergencies should be in. If Hampson is fit, why aren't we letting him develop as our second ruck choice. Do they think having Kruezer against Cox isn't throwing him in the deep end?

As I just said that, prehaps thats why they have brought Hampson. If Cox doesn't play, we'll back Kruezer against Seaby. If Cox does play, expect Hampson as a late inclusion - I'll go out on a limb and say BOOKMARK IT!

Thats a young and inexperienced backline. Although looking at West Coasts forward line it doesn't seem too strong. The kids might get some confidence out of this one

Yes, scarry thought

Wiggins (The wilderness - I forgot he was still on the list :D)

I think that is more accurate
