Thomas racking it up out the back a lot. Ball movement, unless Roberts clunks a mark down the line, has deteriorated in a big way.

Eagles have been so good to start quarters so we need to land an early blow here or we’re stuffed. Movement has broken down late in each term as they run out of legs.

There’s just so much better footy shown by this group than we’ve seen in the past. Fair to say they are building, and while I bagged Prior a lot early, they do seem to be making week on week structural progress.

Just not good enough for long enough at the moment, with desperate need for another forward option and a bit better transition out of defence.
