Will depend on my trades this week

Fyfe will be captain. He's the sort of player that normally destroys North. I think I'll only take a VC score of 130+

VC will be Swan or Pendles if I don't get around to trading Heeney. Otherwise the best I can do is Selwood via Sloane

Maybe give Selwood the C into Fyfe.

Selwood may not be scoring well, but he is playing OK. Carlton leak points like crazy, so Selwood could pull a huge score out of the woodwork.

Due to the lack of loophole options, it will probably be Selwood --> Fyfe.
Will need one of my rookies to be not named for that to happen though, and unfortunately, none of them play on Sunday.

Pretty sure Saad will miss again this week.

Assuming you still have him

Rd 7 update for 100's against;

SC 100's against.PNG
No changes, Freo miserly & abundant when playing the Blues.

Italics on RHS (rd 8 column) are 5 week ave's.

Yep, still got him. In a perfect Supercoach situation I wouldn't mind keeping him for the season.
Still means that Selwood would be the VC due to a lack of VC worthy Saints, Eagles, Giants and Crows in my team. Unless I wanted to go risky and try Newnes, CEY, Lever or new guy Treloar (who may be better than Selwood now I look at it). I was kind of hoping (both for loopholes and trades next week) that Lonie may have the week off.

Salem will most likely miss.

Even if he plays, he is now going to drop over the next 3 weeks. He will need another ton to have any chance of holding value, and I wouldn't be banking on that.

How does the ave's for the 100's against shape up when presented as a 'ladder', as it would seem to indicate winning sides keep other sides to lower amount of 100's against (almost 2x for losing v winning sides).

Freo - 2.38 (1) -
GWS - 3.28 (5) +3
Haw - 3.35 (6) +3
Port - 3.43 (12) +8
WCE - 3.70 (2) -3
Syd - 3.73 (3) -3
Ade - 3.95 (4) -3
Nth - 3.98 (9) +1
Ess - 4.35 (11) +2
Rich - 4.50 (10) -
GCS - 4.70 (17) +6
WBull - 4.80 (8) -4
St.K - 4.93 (14) +1
Coll - 5.15 (7) -7
Bris - 5.30 (16) +1
Geel - 5.53 (13) -3
Melb - 5.88 (15) -2
Carl - 6.25 (18) -

According to this;

Port & GCS rated higher than current ladder position.

WBull & Coll rated lower than current ladder position.

All FWIW, only 7 rds of data.

assuming Cripps' plays, might throw the VC on him for fun and hope he pulls another 170 out of his ass lol
only other option is Danger and he doesn't interest me

Captain Fyfe all I need

Went against my own rule and cost myself 100 points (doesn't sound like much, but could have had me ranked about 400th rather than 771st). Said two or three weeks ago that it was always going to be Fyfe/Gray, but got exotic last week and went Goldstein/Pendles.

The Pendles decision was mainly inspired by a need to get a league win and therefore cancelling out my opponents captain.

A wise man once told me to always have an old faithful (not really wise, just a drunk who thought he was Rod Stewart that I was dealing Roulette to one night), so back to Fyfe/Gray I go!
