Thinking of VCing Cripps instead of Selwood as a bit of a gamble. Selwood will be tagged by one of Carlton's 5 taggers while Cripps should be fairly free.

Capt Fyfe will save me if Cripps doesn't perform.

I read it the other way too. If Fyfe spuds up, you don't want Salem taking the C. You want Gray. If Fyfe kills it, the Salem takes the C. Or maybe I'm missing something too.

was thinking basically the same but someone other than priddis. bottled it and went selwood vc so wont be stuck with clark (even though i think he will score 85+) bottled hard lol

Take Fyfe, or VC Gray? Leaning Fyfe, realistically I thin Gray could go 120-150 which I'm apprehensive to risk passing Fyfe's solid 128 on.

That was because most people had GAJ as captain. So if he bombed it was likely to not do too much damage. Whereas these days there's a few different options, so there's bigger risk involved.

Am in a similar position. Hard to decide!

Likewise..taking a risk, but if Gray's scores more than Fyfe, the rewards are great.

I need to make the call just before the Melbourne/Bulldogs game so at least I'll have an idea of how mine and his players are tracking - most of his are in the Essendon/Lions game.
