I was going to try and post something witty, but after my attempt on the bay being such a failure, I think I'll just pop in to say hello.

Congrats to the Essendon Football Club and all their supporters on their sixteenth-and-a-halfth premiership - The 2012 AFL May premiership

Luckily it will be in the "post season", with the May preimership wrapped up, that the inevitable slide down the ladder occurs, along with the traditional straight sets departure from september footy :thumbsu:

To keep things in perspective, the past 25 years (and counting) has seen Fitzroy play in more finals than Richmond.

Still want to discuss finals? I can think of 16 reasons though to discuss premierships. ;)

I come on your board and congratulate you on your 16.5th premiership and you get your back up?! I had nothing but kind words for your 7 round season...

Well now you can leave. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. ;)

I think you mean “a joyous experience”, or “were joyous experiences”... But I guess grammar is something you shouldn't expect from a Tasmanian bombers supporter, even if they are a moderator ;)

Good luck on the weekend flogs :D

Im curious, why was the kick he did after the don't argue omitted from this gif. Surely he drilled it onto a leading Richmond forwards chest?
After the 'dont argue' he balanced himself, lowered his eyes, chose the first and best option, and fired the ball into the forward line with bullet like precision.

Pity I didn't have more time this week to educate your board about the skill and prowess of our other marquee players. Never mind.

To those of you who have gone out of their way to be negative about the Richmond Football Club, I wish you suffering, desolation, indignities, profound self-contempt, the torture of self-mistrust, and the wretchedness of the vanquished.

I have no pity for you.

Oh and good luck on Saturday night you uppity bunch of deluded underachieving second rate private school blazer wearing try hard social climbers.

And by bullet like precision, you mean it went straight into the ground and dribbled into the 50? Unless the turf 10 meters ahead of him was considered the best option. Understandable when all you see is Brad Miller coming at you and Reiwoldt off having a tantrum.

You sure about that. I recall him firing the ball 30m along the turf the whole way. You obviously have a different definition of precision.

Happy for you to prove me wrong though.
