Yes, they will try...
No, they won't succeed, they don't have anyone who can even come close to matching him and once they're out of the game goals will come thick and fast (hopefully).
Hawthorn will demolish them all over the ground, lots of supply means lots of chances for Buddy (which he needs because he converts so few)

My opponent in my major league also picked Cox as captain.

He also has Chappy.. but he already had him whereas I traded him in.

I ended up going Franklin as captain and opponent has him as captain too. Can't get the advantage over him there. Just gotta prey like hell that Browndog, Pavlich, the Cornes boys, Cox Burton and Porps can pull out blinders! Already trailing by 257 points although he has played 3 players more than me.

Buddy for me too. Decided to go with the big forwards as captains (Buddy, Brown, etc) in supercoach all year - makes it interesting, i either get a shocking score or a massive one.

And I was convinced my opponent would have had Gabblett as captain (I mean why wouldn't you have? If he'd been in my team he would have been...), but instead he's gone for my VC, the juddster. An interesting move, and one I hope does not pay off...

We have 9 of the same players, would have been 10, except he's cashed out Riewoldt for Playfair. I suggested to him that might not be the wisest move, but I guess he has a plan (Well OK, I know he does- I've seen his spreadsheet, and it's even more sophisticated than mine...)

Have just checked the radar, and there is a small patch of green coming over Rottnest Island. Never actually been to Perth, but I assume rain coming from Rottnest directly east will hit Subiaco? Doesn't seem to be anything else once that passes...
