Well done Forest - good to see them back in the top flight. We just need to get QPR and Millwall up there to make the EPL just like the AFL.
hahah, lets also add Charlton and Leyton Orient to make it really tight in London :).

Very Happy for the Tricky Trees!

Very happy for the Welshman in charge. He certainly brought a fresh outlook on the club as a whole and that was firmly embraced by the staff, players and supporters.

And my mate Merthyr Johnny who is on the board (and the best sports documentary maker in the world imo). :).

I knew Steve, he was a couple of years under me playing for county.

His Dad Keith was a fantastic bloke though, he used to be a top tier referee, but he'd also come and referee boys clubs games and help out in all the Valleys Towns! Same pre game talks too :).

Proper family! There were mad fights all through town at this game!!!

And while I'm here, Gareth Bale, ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER! Suffers from Tredrea Syndrome (he not English instead of not Victorian) so doesn't get the plaudits he clearly deserves!

Yes, how could I forget him, he always believed in miracles.
I used to hang around with a bloke from Merthyr, not sure if I have mentioned it to you before. His name is Kevin Mitchell. He married a girl who used to live up the street from my wife. She went back home to Wales, met & married him, then they came to live here in SA.
I also see that Grimsby are in the National League final. I should mention this but they have scored in the 119th minute of their last 2 games.

I’m a big Grimsby fan, they’re my second team, used to go to a lot of their games (again we may have had this conversation:), just a shame it was against Wrexham, but they’ll go up next year anyway!

Most regions of England are represented, but how can it be called a true EPL if Wales isn't there?
u wot

How can we be called the Australian Football League without a team from New Zealand?

It is not the EPL, that is an informal lazy name it is the Premier League! Any more than the AFL is called the VFL.

It shouldn't be called the EFL, that is a very recent marketing thing FOR THE football league ONLY. (2015)! It would basically be like the AFL turning around next week and rebranding to Super League Victoria!

Actually that wouldn't be so bad as it was once the VFL, the Football League has never been the English Football League.

Bloody slept thru about 90% of the game and woke up just before the broadcast ended so saw highlights of the goals.

One small advantage over Peru we have, is this will be our 12th or 13th game in middle east as part of the 3 year campaign to qualify for this world cup.

Not as good as playing in front of 83k in Sydney but I will take any small advantage.

Greame Arnold is Australian soccers Ken Hinkley. He'll probably pull off the win and we'll be stuck with him for another four years.

That said, fingers crossed for the win.

We exist to qualify for the World Cup.
We sort of do though, really the aim is to compete for the win in Asia Cup and make it out of the group stage in the World Cup. Being able to go beyond that without extreme luck really is going to take some time.

Its not like the cyclical AFL where virtually every team other than us have made it to a GF in the last decade.

Viva la Grey Wiggle.

Excruciating to watch. Missed the 1st half but sheer elation at the end.

Shades of 1974 qualification. Had to travel everywhere to make it thru to the WC as the last team to qualify.

16 games away out of 20 games is a tough route to take, leaving it to the 6th penalty.
