The only reason we're discussing Travis Boak is because he might want to go back home to Victoria. If he didn't, we wouldn't be considering trading him. So, considering that Jones has given absolutely no indication that he wants to leave, and considering that he's been pretty much their only good midfielder this year, why on Earth would Melbourne consider trading him?

Which game were you watching on the weekend Powerade?? Boak was terrible as he has been for all but a couple of games this year. Go back and watch it again then come back with a straight face and tell us his performance was A grade.

His first half was outstanding and once he came back on after half time started limping and had little impact. Was instrumental in us getting a big lead at the half.

I've been using Jones as I thought he could be a possible target eg stuck in a under achieving club where supposedly there's a rift in the players. So MAYBE he is achievable, neither of us really know but I would want a Jones or someone of his calibre, we don't need another pick, we need a developed player under 25

That actually isn't such a bad idea. Both quality players, but both have stalled a bit lately. A new start for each could be a win win, but it won't happen though. FWIW I think Boak will stay, or if he doesn't it will be Geelong.
