Still remember how badly he was beaten by Simpson a couple of years ago. He's like Warnock, I'd rather us go against Gawn then Jamar. I'm sure Blicavs will do the job with support from Walker.

They haven't won the clearances not once this year when Jamar was rucking but they've won it two weeks running with Gawn in ruck. Small sample size yes, but he's obviously doing something right in the middle. Think I'd prefer the old man over Gawn for this one. Much better talent than Warnock too.

It's not like losing the hitouts will be new for our midfield. I wouldn't mind us giving a few games to either Lucey or Read at some point to see if they can at least provide some decent depth next year.

Lucey isnt fit enough to play afl yet.

McIntosh is done.

Blicavs and Walker will be our ruck combo unless by some small chance Simpson gets fit, which considering he has been out with a shoulder injury for a few weeks combined with how unfit he was before that, is pretty remote.

Clark will probably have to go into the ruck more when he gets back and we run a three man ruck rotation.

The only possible silver lining in this is that Walker will get more games in the second half of the year which may help us retain him (I was pretty pessimistic that he will ask to be traded, and still am to a degree)
