Ashley Judd for Ben Kinnear is a sensational trade.

We'll gazump you by offering Aaron Henneman and Mark Bolton for Ashley Judd. Good old Sheeds....always prepared to trade.

Hopefully Ashley will wear the same underwear she wore at that awards show. The one with no VPL.

Fellas,
I justw ant you all to know that I was at the St Kilda vs Sydney final on Friday night with Paul Licuria. I asked him bout Taz and if any of the rumours were true. He told me this "Taz and I have a laugh about them all the time, he's an untouchable at Collingwood"
So Pies fans relax......Taz will be wearing no. 20 in the balck and white in 2005 and beyond!!!!!!!!

Judd for Tarrant? HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU ARE JOKING

Tarrant only plays well once a year...and goes missing. Welsh is better than Tarrant.

Give the Crows Tarrant and Lockyer, and we'll give you Welsh. That is a steal.
Tarrant playing well once a year would explain his All Australian selection last year would it (Something ex-Nth Melbourne forward Scott Welsh has never been near).

As opposed to Welsh being extreemly injury prone.

Damn talented though, but he's no Tarrant as you guys found out when we played you this year.

TOOL QUOTE OF BIGFOOTY HISTORY

Mate - Start watching the game KNOW, In the Pre Season or F*** OFF

That is the worst thing I have read EVER on bigfooty.com

I hardly ever go on bigfooty anymore and this is one reason, this is every reason. There are only a few people that have an idea of what they are talking about on this board, (leonmagic, brentoncowell, guess_who, pedro, Lockyer 24) the rest is nonsense, may have missed a couple. You don't watch any other football than Collingwood and the odd couple of games.

AND JUST TO GET 'STAN' UP TO SPEED.

When Chris Judd is in the top 3 hardest players for the ball,

UNSTATISTICALLY - My Opinion
S.Black
C.Judd
S.West
A.Koutoufides
G.Ablett jnr

STATISTICALLY
2002-
A.Koutoufides
S.Black
C.Judd
P.Licuria
J.Johnson
S.West
S.Burns
J.Fraser
M.Coughlan
L.Darcy
2003-
C.Judd
B.Kirk
J.Bolton
J.Johnson
L.Ball
S.Black
S.West
D.Harris
P.Licuria
S.Mitchell

AND OVERHEAD MARKS

Chris Judd has taken very few marks this season because he gets the ball at ground level, gets plenty of handball receives and gets alot of clearances, and his work rate is enormous, a great tackler indeed.

2003 - (AFL)
Clearances #1
Inside 50's #6
Hardball Gets #1
Looseball Gets #3
Tackles #10

NO, THE ONLY THING JUDD HAS IS SPEED!!! Yeah right

Im glad you got me up to speed.

So i was right, judd doesnt take marks.

He gets the hard ball so iwas right on one wrong on the other.

And those people you mentioned are the ones who suscribe to offering dud players for good players.ie mccough, obree etc etc for salopek, stevens etc.

So i wouldnt say they know anything about football than would you. :D

Stan, I realise that you're probably genaralising, but I think you'll find that in several threads in regards to trading players, my thoughts are pretty consistent. I don't subscribe to the theory that trading one or two duds will nett a good player. You'll find many lists on here of "tradables" and "Keepers".

Generally speaking, most of the tradables are candidates for delisting rather than trading, and we need to look at the next level of player as a trade in order to acquire anybody of quality.

If I've suggested some of the ludicrous trade scenarios that you come across here, and I don't think that I have, I think you'll find that my tongue is very firmly planted in my cheek. ;)

******** man,

How old are you, 10 years old. You bloody better be mate, because the ******** you talk is useless. I know this is a forum where you can place forward your opinions, but when you said Judd is quick, that is all - you have no idea who Chris Judd is. And from that quote - above - you have no idea about the game either.

Judd doesn't take ********ing marks, because he is a midfielder, who plays in a team that uses the ball through the midfield with short kicks and handballing to attack - similar to Brisbane Lions. Now.... Chris Judd is being tagged now as a player by the best capers in the business. Kirk is probably the only tagger YOU would know, but underrated players such as Brady Rawlings, Robert Copeland, Tyson Stenglein.... the list goes on. But he manages to find the ball whilst being tagged, and it will generally be at ground level, and not only does he find the ball, when he doesn't he bloody tackles everbody because he is a team player. Now midfielders who take alot of makes, usually take alot of uncontested marks, and play in a team that doesn't get many handball recieves. As far as clearances go, they are better than marks, and get the game moving. Marks are nothing for a midfielder, if Judd was a forward then he would rely heavily on marking the bloody ball. But he is a midfielder and relies on gathers, clearances and putting the ball inside 50. And another thing based on Judd is that he is much better at ground level than not. So West Coast are going to concentrate to put the ball close or at ground level for him to win contests.

'Champion Data' playing ranking system mainly relies on CONTESTS WON, and the the other stats - the stats you see - are put into a minor catergory. Wheras tactical statistics and effectiveness is at a higher consideration than the others. And Chris Judd was placed high up on those. Averaging 121 a season till Rnd 22, and was in the top 3 for memory in the TOTAL at the end of the season in that catorgory.

Chris Judd has had a great season, and me watching every game he ahs played this season, he managed 43 votes, being 3rd overall, beaten by Warren Tredrea & Nick Riewoldt (both 49).

And the amount of marks he has taken is 51 marks, but you are not remembering the amount of ball gets, and handball recieves he gets!!!

Chris Judd has kicked 24 goals this season, which is exceptional as a midfielder. In 3 years of football - Judd has played 67 games, only missed 2 matches in his whole career. And in those 67 games he has kicked 74 goals. Anyway... for 2004 his 24 goals - as a midfielder is only beaten by Jason Akermanis, Cameron Bruce, Brent Harvey and Nathan G. Brown.

wow, you know your footy. Very impressive. it's a very accurate description of Juddy.

*(Juddy's actually played 68 games and hasn't missed one since debuting against you guys in Round 2 2002.)
