Has an injury prone season this year, which saw others keep their spot ahead of him in the backline due to good form, and so he packs up his bags and asks for a trade. Got to agree here. Look at McClean, trying his hardest to earn his spot (Too bad he's a spud).

Probably because he knows he won't get a gig anywhere else.

Bower hasn't shafted us like Grigg. Grigg played the last eight games in 2010, yet still walked to get easy games at Richmond. Bower's third and last game this year was round 17. Bower doesn't sound like a FIGJAM, so injuries have ultimately cost him his spot. We clearly went tall in the last draft because he can't get fit. It's almost a similar situation to Walker's desire to leave. I hope we don't try to be stubborn and put any road blocks in Bower's way like other clubs. If Bower wants to go Freo and they get Clark first, then it will have to be a player for player swap. We probably can't expect his full market value due to his contract situation and his injury history.
