I've heard we're doing a 3-way trade with GWS and St.Kilda at the end of the year:
Scotland to GWS
Pick 1 to St.Kilda
Goddard to Carlton

I made a nice pizza a couple of weeks ago. :p Red capsicum, mozzarella, chicken strips (stir fry), tomato paste, rocket, stuffed olives and capers.

Yeah, I don't get this fancy schmancy pizza stuff. Pizza should be cheap and loaded with ham and assorted other meats.

Same with sausages, the gourmet flavours like 'Beef, Wild Mushroom and Roasted Garlic' are too highbrow to be associated with sausages. Give me plain old beef sausage anyways. The kind made from sawdust and pig snout; they taste the best.

In Chile they put avocado on hot dogs, it's called an Italiano.

I asked my local 2nd generation continental deli owner about this and certainly they don't do that in his ancestors' part of Italy. ;)

Rumour Scotland signed on for next year. Don't know if this has be written anywhere else
He still good enough for another but at 33 next year, would possible be his last season. I would think some player would be ready to command his position, that been developing there.

You speak of it like you are cutting deadweight. As long as he is contributing he is part of team.

Didn't stop Craig Bradley.

Scotty could certainly go another year, but now is not the time to be settling his contract. At his age, a deal should be done at the end of the season (especially considering certain off-field events).

Hey Numbers, ill-advised nom-de-plume right there.

Wasn't quite sure where to put this but thought it could go here. The following is a quote from Ratts re: the possibility of Travis Boak opting to come back to Melbourne at the end of the yearL

"Travis Boak is a very good player. We'd be interested in having a chat if he was looking at moving back home." #RattenPresser

Thoughts on the matter?

Also, was watching AFL360 when Robbo proposed the question of: would you trade Gibbs for Boak (with, obviously, also the exchanging of picks). I know he has been out of form lately and a hot topic, and I'm not jumping the gun on his form by bringing this question up. But Robbo just said that he thinks he would do the trade in a heart beat, and i think it's an interesting point to discuss.

Robbo is about the most biased anti-Carlton flog around. He has been talking Carlton down for years, pumped them up prematurely this preseason and jump back to sticking the boot into Carlton the moment he could.

As for Boak, a Journo would have asked Ratten "Would Carlton be interested in Boak if he was coming back to Melbourne" to which he replied "He is a good player, of cause we would be interested". That would be the same response if asked in any decent player was coming back to Melbourne. In other words there is nothing in it .......

if there is a chance he's coming back to victoria, I would give port russell and add on a pick or two to sweeten the deal.
