I heard he can't bring himself to fly into the Adelaide Airport, hates the place. Also the main reason he wanted to leave in the first place.

A couple of weeks ago he was dropped for the same reason apparently. But it may be the Bullies culture... the weekend we played Essendon, I had a function in town and a friend of mine had just come from this pub and said "guess who I just ran into at .."....". pub? I said who, an he said Cooney and another well known player. This was at 1pm on the Saturday arvo - just 5 hours before their game against the Lions at the Gabba.
