Rumour regarding Gibbs

just heard from a source that it is a shoe in we will get Gibbs in the draft. But what i've heard is that we are going to give him 'Sticks' old number and his going to live with him for a few months/even a year. This is because apparently him and Gibbs dad are good mates. and coming from a close knit family the club are worried that we would want to go back home in a few years. So i guess its cya later livo. what could of been

We rookied Laurence Angwin ... Adelaide picked him up with Pick #7.

Thought we may have screwed them over big time with that - Laurrie definatley had some talent (and still does in the CFL).

Let's hope that he treats the Sticks guernsey with more respect than Hamill did!

Good to hear that, seeing that most of the Carlton posters on BF want us to take Gibbs in the draft. I think it would mean a great deal to Gibbs if he was to be given the No. 4 jumper, given the close family connection.

Let's not bring up the issue of Carlton's shocking recruiting. We all know they missed out on a few gun players but we can't change the past. We recruited poorly and that's one of the reasons we are last. Let's just hope if Gibbs comes to Carlton he will become a Carlton great.
