Playing with a tagger who doesn't win his own ball is like playing a midfielder short. We did it all year at Lang Lang and no doubt it cost us games. Fair enough play a tagged if he is going to win the ball and use it himself, otherwise don't bother. Midfielders can be accountable without tagging.

Pretty sure he tagged him off a wing. You haven't coached have you?
 
You know I haven't coached, doesn't mean I don't know about football. Until you say who you are on these forums nobody can give you credit for being a good coach/player. No doubt you will be too gutless to say who you are in fear of being bagged.

I would rather have Bradshaw get 25 possessions and his opponent 20 than have Bradshaw get 15 and his opponent 5 provided they all use the ball to a similar quality. It is pretty simple bigdukes, being the best coach since Norm Smith you should know that.

bradshaw had 40 touches round 18 and put it down the throat of his fwds all day. he had to be nullafied to some capacity. sinclair could not roll the dice in the finals on a quality player like bradshaw.
 
Agreed Liz. In round 18 Bradshaw, according to the tape, had 15 inside 50 off his own boot.

After the Hoskin tag, would have been lucky to have had 5 in both finals. Of those 5, 3 of them would have been under immense pressure.

And, he played wing for most of the first final. Went inside more in the granny but as we know, that also didnt work. Hoskin didnt follow him in there and our other mids fixed him up there.

Job well done as far as Im concerned.

Bradshaw still had more an impact than Hoskin even if he did not play well. I am seriously not sure was his idea of tagging Bradshaw. Yes, he is a handy player but he is not someone you would bring a specialised tagger in to play on. Was just a wierd decision in my opinion.

eric kuret captained the Coburg VFL side a few years back.

Heard Ellinbank wish to revisit the points capping system. Apparently the players they have lined up will not fit in. Dont know who they are, but there will be problems. Funny considering a club with no juniors actually voted for it in the first place.
