Hawthorn is believed to be interested in his services. Brett O'Farrell is the player Geelong wants for Murphy.

Also Matt Pavlich is going to be traded to Carlton.

Well, there's nothing to say he has actually signed or will sign with either of the WA teams. Just seems strange that they are looking for offers when he categorically stated he was going to remain with Melbourne.

Perhaps it's a move to put the wind up Melbourne so they'll offer him more money
