Dunno if it's escaped anyone's attention - it certainly escaped mine.

Rupert Betheras has joined St Marys in the AFLNT mid-season (as most of you know, their season is played over summer). Second game in, last weekend, he kicked 9 goals against the hapless Southern Districts.

I heard on SEN yesterday he is only up there for the summer season, he will be back playing somewhere in Melbourne during the winter.

You have to sometimes wonder what the hell they are thinking down at Collingwood.

I'd take the Rupe in a heartbeat over Kinnear, Williams or Davis.

Hell I'd take Richo over Kinnear. I'd take playing 1 short over Kinnear. I'd take hemorrhoids over Kinnear. Oh you get the picture...

Why we would axe Rupe and not Kinnear is beyond me. Why Port would take Mahoney over Rupe is not beyond me though. It fits. Pretty funny really. Dumb but funny.

I seriously dont know why you guys are still wanting rupe back.Im not sayimg kinnear is any better but rupe was at best a average player who wasn't going to improve anymore.He was just holding a younger players spot.Sure he as a good clubman but sometimes if we want to improve you have to let these guys go.

I think the club did the right thing.
