It seems as though Collingwood off-loaded their best second-teer player in the likes of Scotland, McKee, Betheras and Mc Gough and kept our worst third teer players in Williams, O'bree, Walker and Shaw. I know which four i would keep. Part of the reason the PIes were so good in 2002 was because of those players like Ruert, Freebs, Mc Kee, Goughy, etc. They had caharcter and never sherked a hard ball.

I would rather Tex Walker over McKee but I see your point. Williams and O'Bree have to be at their best to make an impact. Shaw doesn't make an impact whatsoever. Remember that McGough and Scotland wanted to go, that was not our choice.

That is fair enough if they want to leave, but make sure you get something for them. Nick davis wanted to leave and we got nothing for him as well. So I understand that if player want to leave to go somewhere else, but demand something in return. Cos if we don't, we get weaker and rival clubs get stronger

Re Nick Davis. Its not that we were offered nothing in return, it's what we chose to take which is in question imo. If what I'm led to believe is correct, we were offered Ryan Fitzgerald as a trade for ND. Now hindsight is a wonderful thing, but who would you have preferred now, Ryan Fitzgerald or the already departed Bo Nixon. In fact at this point in time, I'd say I'd prefer Fitzgerald over Davis
