Is anyone else having a problem with RWO? I haven't been able to get to it for about 18 hours now. And there was a problem the day before.

I think with all the negativity coming out of there towards Brett Kirk and Paul Roos i think the admins have maybe shut it down for a while? You know how conservative RWO is for fear of being lynched by the swans.

Or it just could be server issues.

it looks like a dns problem whereby www.redandwhiteonline.com doesn't resolve to an IP address.

oh ok thought so. I just thought it was a coincidence that its down atm where there were nothing but negative threads about the whole "davisgate" drama.

Umm ....regardless of the constant repetitive technical issues...

too many.....bandwagon, chardonay backslappers, with only criticism for the team/players they support:(

A few dominant ego maniac's (some complete nutters) who despite never ever having played the game (at any significant level) ... very obvious....:o ....find comfort in the playpen with their mates, who all agree that they know how to coach! how to recruit!, pick the side, and have amazing insider knowledge, but rarely ever say a positive word:thumbsd:

Yep U2

And what makes you some elite fan? Oh thats right you were there when the swans only had 4k a match.

I swear the crowd numbers must have been fudged b/c nearly every second swan now claims "they were there" during the lean times. So that would mean we would have had sellout crowds ever week during 1992-94. Embrace the bandwagoners and turn them into real fans instead of driving them away. You are actually hurting the club with these comments.

Agree. Reading the forums over the last week has opened my eyes to the lack of knowledge many of these people have.

Its disappointing the negativity that is being put forward by these supporters. Maybe after winning 2005 many seem to think that flags come easy and 2006 was going to be a cakewalk. They seem to forget about the build up to success which started in 2003 and 2004.

Just a coincidence, I'm afraid Diego.

Though to be honest, I can't see it as a bad thing that everyone got a rest from Davisgate for 5 minutes. You had a third the people supporting Davis, with good reason, a third of the people supporting Roos, for equally good reasons, and then a third of people supporting neither, and maintaining that it was a media beat up. And no one ever changes their opinion, sadly....

Webhosts are running some emergency maintainance right now, it'll be back when it's back. Hopefully with all previous data........

Oh yes, we should all wait patiently for another 72 years. How dare we expect to continue to build 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Some people might be happy with players not kicking to others (its been happening to others apart from Davis), the continued selection of absolute hacks, the hiding of injuries and continued selection of those players, the lack of opportunities reserve players get, the way the coach obsolves himself of all blame for selection, the way certain underperforming players are in charge of selection and therefore select themselves and their mates, the recruitment last year, and the general form of the side.

I know, lets blame Davis.

The coach can only do so much, if players aren't going to put in the effort then they can go gather splinters on the bench.
It is hardly like we have a decent system to drop the poor performers to

What about another third who can't understand what all the fuss is about?

And the other third who wish everyone would shut up and watch the football?

Ah... I guess the playpen is still out of order.... did mummy and daddy take you to a game in the early 90's... were you old enough to remember?.. good boy;) ... if not would you like to know a bit about it?

you are just another classic example !

I am ....I consider myself very privilaged (sic) to be contacted by someone who is brazen enough to selectively edit quotes which were attributed to Paul Roos made by a journalist (poor one at that),.....and then call Roosey ....arrogant...:D

arrogant means "1. Having or displaying a sense of overbearing self-worth or self-importance

Again I am so privileged , I will take special note of your posts in future best of luck with the coaching application ... it will give us all a big laugh:)

Couldn't you work out how to attach the little picture of Paul Roos that sits beside that definition in the dictionary. His overbearing sense of self worth and self importance has been on display for some time, most noticeably the last fortnight. All of a sudden it is 'he' that brought the premiership to Sydney. Davo got in trouble for putting himself before the team - how none of us are too sure, but we know because Paul told us so.

Did you like his big smile when we lost two weeks ago against the crows?

Or last week after we lost to the eagles?

Did someone let it rip before full time which made Mr Too koool fo skool laugh?

maybe he's actually got a sense of perspective and doesn't get bogged down in the immediate past over which he has no control.

So he just shrugs and laughs it off. Arrogance personified by Roos.

Yeah. Thats what I said.

Some people might be happy with players not kicking to others (its been happening to others apart from Davis),

Names and instances?

the continued selection of absolute hacks,

Names and what games and who should have been the replacements of these hacks?

the hiding of injuries and continued selection of those players

Names, extent of injuries and who should have been in the side rather than those players?

the lack of opportunities reserve players get

Names and what games should these players have played in and who should they have replaced?

the way the coach obsolves himself of all blame for selection

Just another dig at Roos. All people responsible fpr selection take the heat for any mistakes.

the way certain underperforming players are in charge of selection and therefore select themselves and their mates,

Names, games, and who are these mates and who should be in the side rather than them.

the recruitment last year

Who should we have recruited instead?

and the general form of the side

Agree, the form of the side is not good.

Some people might be realists and understand that winning the flag doesnt automatically mean you will do the same the following year. And some people might not automatically turn on their own when things arent looking so rosy.

Hey, it's not his fault. He doesn't pick the team. It really has nothing to do with him, just the good things, like the premiership, he did that...
