Must be bashing the door down at Willi. seems to have been very consistent this year and improving all the time. Look forward to reading magpies as seaguls again this week. Not sure there is a spot for him to debut at the minute but must be next in line?

Thoughts from those who see more of Willi than me?

He's had more opportunities in unfamiliar positions, like at half-back, and has been running harder through the midfield. I think Brad Gotch was going to play him on the ball this week - despite being named in the best, I heard nobody played well. On CTV, he was confident of his chances at getting a game so he shouldn't be too far away hopefully!

He's knocking at the door but so are a few others - Iles the most recent to be promoted, Davies the next in line, on form at least. Good to see him getting a kick. Whether theres room for him in the seniors, I'm not sure, as we're getting to the business end of the season and time for youth experimentation is nearing an end. He may have to wait until next season, if he avoids the chop, which he should.

In his good games you dont notice him as he does not do any good or bad, in his bad game he 360s himself and the team into trouble

Just not good at anything apart from running very very hard

Hes dropped off so quickly without any notice. At least Stanley is still consistently performing in the VFL. Didn't help him that Wellingham, Beams and Sidebottom have all gone well past him in the midfield. Looks like he'll be getting the chop at season's end, unless they believe he has value as a depth player.

His form at Willy hasn't been bad lately, certainly not worse than Stanley's (he has been injured), so I dunno where that has come from.
Still a nothing player though, but I thought that was a bit stiff on him.

I'd still delist him before Stanley as well (even though both will go), purely because we need an inside, extracting mid far before we need a... a... Wtf is Cook? An outside mid with shit house skills and a wicked 360?

They'll both probably go, but we need someone to take the role off O'Bree by next year IMO, we got smashed in the centre clearances again tonight.
