Where do you think Houla is more suited?? I actually don't mind the backline role, but it does seem a waste not to have him more in the action, i struggle to decide on either the wing, or half forward flank. What will Denis do with him this year???

I liked his role of running off the half back flank last year as he can be very damaging with his accurate disposals . it seemd to make him a bit more accountable , he does have a tendency to go awol at times

Whilst Houlihan is very clever around goal, I think he is suited to more of a backline role at the moment for the Blues. :)

He frustrates me sometimes - a bit like Digby kicking for goal - you know hes going to miss...Give him a go in the forward line for a bit - hes quality (well sometimes).

The coming of age is almost complete........I was a serious doubter of Ryan`s but after watching him back into a pack and getting crunched by Neitz(i think it was )and doing it again 15 minutes later is a testament as to just how far he has come under Pagan...as i said almost complete!

We know he can be a gun for us in the backline. But I wouldn't mind seeing the attacking side of Houls every once in a while. I guess Dennis knows best...

for me he's still to soft, he needs to become a bit more couragous, but when he turns it on he's a very good player.

he certainly is becoming a key to the side, makes it look like he has so much time, very silky and hits a target 9 outa 10 times

Come to think of it, he is gradually showing a more cooler head over time. I used to cringe in 2002 when he had the ball and thinking 'Oh god, hes gonna stuff it up' but now he has overcame that and could alternate from backline to forward line throughout the game. Maybe with Prenda?

Ryan is a gun.
How many times did the opposition coach instruct Ryans man to hide so Ryan cant get near the ball in our backline.
Ryan started last year off with a hamstring operation and didnt start training till late Jan.
He also had a severe groin injury last year.

Watch out!!
Hes in super conditioning.
