poor disposal on bad days make him look really bad, a huge heart for a small player and always willing to make amends for mistakes but refer to first point.
So the fact that he gets the ball 20 times a game dosen't help the Pies does it?

If you look for the mistakes you will see them. With any player.

I wouldn't, look at Davies. As long as Lonie get's it, by hook, or by crook, it doesn't matter. He did that for most of last year.

At least Davies earns his games

Its nothing to do with being tough, my comment is that he does not win the ball enough to play anywhere midfield. He just simply does not get enough possessions. Lonie is best doing what he does - half back flank with a licence to run forward off his opponent.

Again this is where I disagree. You can afford 1 or 2 outside midfielders/wingers in your team at any time. He showed last year he can find the ball, even if it was mostly handball receives and looseball gets (and again especially in the first half of last year he improved and got alot of his own ball when in the middle). 18 disposals a game is a massive improvement, and he also had a career high game of 28 disposals.

He certainly added more strings to his bow.

I'm just saying that there are times on a bad day that he will make very costly mistakes .. yes he can make a difference but sometimes it is not for the best... never said he doesn't try his guts out

Lonie is a hack and should not be on any AFL list , his kicking is overrated he rarely kicks those long running goals and when he does he doesn't always nail it like some have u believe. When he gets the ball if he has a bloke confronting him he ********s himself and usually gives it off to a player under more pressure than him (see last friday night game for example hospital handpass to pendles that didn't even make the distance) or goes sideways , u rarely see him deliver long into our f50.
Refuses to go anywhere near a contest and don't sprout ******** about he's not expected too becuase if your oin that ground YOU are expected too. Teams can carry outside players if they are good enough ball getters and great by foot / smarts.
