Ok, now its really going to be hard to delist the bloke. Sandover Medalist(not the easiest thing to do) and now the first(unless Barry Cable did it) player to win the Simpson medal AND Sandover in the same season.
They say the measure of a good player is how they play in the finals. BOG in a Grand Final must say something

I think he will be used as trade bait. These two awards may have saved his career, though if he does stay i think he might only play a back-up role for Jako.

But well done to him. Lets hope his AFL career isn't finished yet, I certainly would like to see him play the 20 odd-games he needs to get life membership.

It's Turnbull.

I'm not sure he'd be too keen to leave East Perth and his growing business for a short term career interstate, so I suspect it's Eagles, Freo or not. And I wouldn't rule out retirement from the AFL while at the top of his game.

Well done Ryan. Simpson + Sandover + Premiership medallion is a great effort.

With the jury still out on Clem Micheal, Turnbull might be attractive trade bait for the dockers. If Turnbull can play well enough to release Longmuir forward then why not..even if he plays backup to Longmuir like Eastaugh did this season. Ryan is better than Eastaugh.

I think Freo could be his best option as i just cant see him getting a game with us, Gardiner is without doubt our first option and is a star ruckmen and Cox is our second option as he is younger and could become very good. Seira, Jako, McDougall can all ruck so despite his great year i still think his career with the Eagles is over.

I like him though and i hope we keep him but if there is a better option that benefits both the Eagles and Turnbull then why not.

If Turnbull stays with the Eagles it will still be hard for him to get a game, he could be traded but I believe he will be retired and will continue at WAFL level.
It will be interesting to see what role the new coach will have for him.

But what could we expect to get in return? A 4th round draft pick??

I rather have him retire then watch him play for the shockers knowing we got bugger all for him.

Here's a little hint so you remember next time:

He's got all the maneuvering skills of a bovine, therefore he's a TURN BULL :)

They actually call him Rhino.

He can make the vets list so would be cheap but my bet is that he will be offered the ruckman coaching job whilst still playing for EP.
