Remember when Ryder won the Anzac day medal and scored 133 supercoach points? A lot of people posting at the time considered it a flash in the pan and that Ryder wouldn't be able to follow that form over the season, and in his next couple of games he did dip a little in scores.
It might come as some surprise then that since that game Ryder has averaged 98.63 supercoach points.
In the last four weeks Ryder has averaged 110.5 points and has not gone under 100 points in any one game.
I think he's now shown enough over to demonstrate that he has become a proven supercoach performer. He is pretty consistent, can get the big scores, doesn't rely on his team winning, or his team mates to get him the ball (5+ takes in 6/8 games, clearances, hitouts) and is still underpriced (slightly). If anyone is looking for a well priced reliable player down back who could still jump his average up to 100-110 for the rest of the season then he's hard to go past.
I'm just worried that next year they'll only let you pick him in the ruck.
