Rucci said it's agreed in principle (Dewy's probably still away)

No offence but Rucci also said Matthew Carr would move to Port to be with Josh "in an amazing turn of events"

hehehehehhehehehehhe

Rucci knows nothing.

Lets face it, Port hate him, Crows hate him, hes the ultimate Nigel Nofriends.

Would you tell him anything?

Dew is an absolute gun, i rate him as one of the best players at port, because he is so damaging. They definatly need to keep him, so its good to hear he has resigned.

Does anyone think he was benched to much this year?

over-rated hack more like it.

went backwards this year so much so that could only manage about 1/3 of a game on the ground.

has no defensive skills and a typical South Australian receiver.

as damaging as a eunuch at a brothel convention.............

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I can think of another typical Sth Australian reciever that you guys seem to love down there at Collingwood

Stuart Dew is a gun and id love that lethal left foot playin for the Dogs.

haha your joking arent you? Because Victoria is such a breeding ground for the toughest players in the league?
Im sure each state produces their own fair share of both 'recievers' (like Nick Stevens, from victoria, that your mob was so keen on, god knows why) and hard ball players (Mark Ricciuto anyone?)

We invented the game in Victoria. We invent tough players.... Brent Guerra. He might not be a great footballer but he is tough from up in the country in Victoria. Jonathon Brown was from Warnabol in Geelong.

Well theres 2 tough players.... you must be right! Victoria is the centre of toughness.
Ill just tell the likes Pickett, Johncock, Ricciuto, Pike, Scott Burns, and Michael Wilson that they arent actually tough because they arent from Victoria?
And ill tell you the difference between Guerra and Brown and the guys i just mentioned; the South Aussie guys play hard and tough WITHIN THE RULES. But i wouldnt be so ignorant as to suggest that the reason for that is because they are South Aussies. And seeings as you brought it up, how its relevant im not sure, but seeings as you invented the game in Victoria shouldnt those guys have a better grasp on the rules and not been suspendended atleast 5 times this season between them? Makes about as much sense as the game being invented in victoria being somehow relevant to how tough the players are some 100 years on down the track.

Johncock? He is a weak little softy who doesnt like the hard ball.
What about these tough players....
Michael Voss, Fraser Gehrig, Barry Hall, Dean Solomon, Mark Johnson, Glenn Archer, David Teague, David Nietz, Chris Scott, Brad Scott, Damien Hardwick, Matthew Primus, Steven Baker. Thats just off the top of my head aswell. There would be plenty more.

Ah hah ha ha ha, ah hah ha ha ha!

Sorry I nearly wet myself, didn't even need to check the team you support after that sort of statement.

Yeah i dont doubt that there are plenty of tough players from victoria, i was just pointing out that you dont have a monopoly on them and that every state produces the same kind of players.
And if you actualy had seen any Crows games youd see that Johncock IS tough, certainly is not weak, knocks blokes over with a flick of his hips and loves getting the hard ball out. The guy models his game on Picketts for christ sake.

Nathan Brown is a cap gun. Stewy Dew is one step behind Lance Whitnall- Burger King!

and face it, didak IS a poor man's Dew

See, the problem is, usually for something to be a "poor-man's" version of something, it has to be inferior. Didak is better than Dew... Unless of course your club rates Stewart Dew higher than Nick Stevens, who they deemed Didak to be worthy of...

Yeah, Didak should be better than Dew but he isn't, and frankly Dew should be better than Dew...but he isn't.

There comes a time when `developing nicely' becomes `has great potential' and then becomes `wasted talent', and Didak is edging closer to the third category every year.

Didak + first rounder I believe was the request. And I think you should get over missing out on Nick Stevens.

We are very very happy to retain Alan Didak, he's still a kid which everybody forgets. Had a poor year, partly due to injury, these things happen, he's more than capable of winning big games off his own boot as Port fans know only too well.
