FFS get out of the thread on the Carlton board.
Carlton Boards will be happy to hand out red cards to anyone posting in the thread that hasn't formally been invited along into this with the exception of Carlton supporters already.

Now that the footy season is on us again, the moderator workload has increased due to opposition supporters coming to the Blues board to elicit a negative response.
I reiterate the BigFooty posting guidelines that state that you must be respectful when posting on other teams boards.

On registration you agreed to not use the forum to submit or link to any Content which is:
- defamatory,
- hateful,
- threatening,
- abusive,
- spam or spam-like,
- likely to offend,
- contains adult or objectionable content,
- contains personal information of others,
- risks copyright infringement,
- encourages unlawful activity,
- or otherwise violates any laws.
Opposition supporters
* Constructive and friendly debate is more than welcome.
* Joining in the spirit of existing satire and friendly banter may also be okay. If you have a history of trolling Carlton, attempted banter along the same lines might be interpreted differently.
* Saying you were only joking after you have been infracted = bad luck. If you are not sure and don't make it clear, then don't post it.
* Opposition fans do not have the same right of reply as Carlton fans. If you want to get even with a Carlton fan, choose another board to do it (within BF guidelines).
* Personal abuse by an opposition fan will meet with an infraction.
* Disrespect towards Carlton or its players will meet with an infraction.
* The moderators reserve the right to interpret your intent as they see fit.
* If you want to complain against an infraction via PM or on the boards, you may be rewarded with a further infraction.
* The moderators may at any time decide to remove your access to the Carlton board temporarily or permanently.
Carlton supporters
* You do have the right of reply against opposition supporters, however if your response far outweighs what you are responding to, warnings or infractions may be handed out. Let's remember kids post here too.
* Abuse of fellow Carlton supporters may incur an infraction or a warning. If you disagree, ask the moderators for feedback by way of reporting the post. Rest assured, we will discuss and monitor if something is a potential issue.
* If you are found to be an opposition supporter posing as a Carlton supporter, your board access will be removed and enough infraction points retrospectively incurred for trolling posts, to ensure you spend a spell on the sidelines site wide.
* Repetitive negative agendas will be watched closely. This is a forum for Carlton supporters, not Carlton detractors, so if you dip predominantly into the latter, you leave yourself open to sanctions. Objectivity is the key.
* Don't spam competitor sites.
* Please do not quote whole articles from media sources. The correct format is link-paragraph or few lines to get the gist of issue-link.
* If you must swear, do not come up with inventive ways to type the word without actually typing the whole word. Most of us will get what you are trying to say if you just type the word in full and let the swear filter do its job. While we try not to be too pedantic with rules, there is potential for infraction for repeat offenders.
* No stalking. Do not follow specific posters around with the intention of calling them out on previous posts, when the thread has nothing to do with the issue. We have no problem with a particular post being called out in the relative thread it was posted in, but doing it off topic repetitively in an effort to heap scorn on a poster, may be frowned upon. These things will be taken on a case by case basis. Just know that we will look at it.
* We now have an official Carlton presence on the board in the form of Carlton_FC_Media. They are here to answer questions and provide assistance with club related matters as appropriate. Please do not fill official Carlton threads with nonsense, criticism of other posters or complaints against the club in a less than respectful manner. We appreciate finally having a club presence here as it is great recognition for our community, and we aim to protect that.
This board has increased its traffic greatly in recent times and with that increase comes an increase in troublemaking and trolling.
We will not always catch everything and we may not act on everything, however the onus is on the posters to check their own behaviour, not the moderators to be 100% consistent (although that is our aim). If we spend a couple of hours cleaning up rubbish, then we may not be as forgiving of breaches as we would be if it had been quiet recently.
A long time reasonable poster may not incur the same punishment as a new poster who has always pushed the boundaries. You make your own reputation and may occasionally be judged based on that reputation. They are the facts of life.
Once more, if you are not sure, ask .... or don't post it.
