Round 12
ROUND 12

sub-2-jpg.1064623

In Round 12, there were two players who came close to the top-3 (Freofalcon and Sab22), but close is not good enough. This week's best, they all came from warm-whether matches and the two best interchangers of the season, plus the round winner.

#3 - Maylandsman (DRA)
It's hard to believe that this is only the first time that Maylan gets into the Top-3, but it is true. He is second on the ladder since R6, but he had never been on top of any round before. His best finishes had been a 4th (R8) and a 5th (R6). This time, he came in replacing Pie 4 Life as FB. He couldn't stop Elton Johns Wig, who scored 4 goals, but his performance was good enough for a third place this week.

#2 - Edmund hunt (FUR)
This season seems to be Ed's and no one else's. It's his 5th time among the Top-3. He was called up to substitute crazywildhorse at W and did his job against one of the best wingers in the league, Matt_352. If it weren't for his 3 frees against, Ed-h would probably have won the round, after having more 7 disposals and 5 marks than his direct opponent. If the Furies were able to pull an away victory, Ed certainly was important for that.

#1 - VSTone (BOM)
In his third game, VST has become the third Bomber to reach the Top-3 and the second to win a round. He replaced Antonio BlueVein on the W, and has beaten both por_please_ya and NinjaSwan. Yes, the Bombers didn't play well and lost to the Hawks at the Eyrie. However, they wouldn't, if the rest of the team had followed VST's lead. His 21 disposals, 5 marks, 3 tackles, and 1 goal may not have been enough for a victory on Sunday, but were to grant him the R12 IC of the Week award.

Do we get extra points for donuts, GremioPower?
There have been 24 donut matches so far this season. 9 of those were perfect, i.e., players never had a chance to enter on the field.

The Perfect Donuts:

R5
- edgie (SCS)
R6 - Ned_Flunders (FUR)
R7 - bone2468 (GUM), Headless (DEM), Maylandsman (DRA)
R11 - Spuddd (GUM)
R12 - Spanna (CIW), _Cayz_ (DEM), Headless (DEM)

You are the only one with two, Headless!

By club:
3
- DEM
2 - GUM
1 - SCS, FUR, DRA, CIW

---

P.S.: edgie is the only one with a negative score (R4). He got 0 points for Adj. DT, but 1 for ToG. So, it has not been included among the perfect ones.

Callums_Guns, this would interest you.

GremioPower how many times has there been a double perfect donut, when both interchange players don't come on ?

Has it ever been completed 2 weeks in a row ?
Unfortunately, I only have these stats for this season. Maybe Hate or Ljp86 can help.

Leaderboard (after R12)
R12 - Leaderboard

Edmund hunt's lead over Maylandsman is at 316 points. That's only 35 points shy of a two-round advantage. At this pace, Ed can win the competition after R15!

WaywardSonSon (3rd), Headless (4th), and bone2468 (5th) have maintained their positions in the Top-5.

For the rest of the Top-10, while Ok Boomer is still in 6th, Fizzler (7th) has overcome LicoriceAllsorts (8th). ChappyUK is now 9th; with toxic barely holding the last spot on after two weeks out of the bench.

Cold Sober, Spuddd, and Danger in Texas are all close enough to enter into the Top-10 after R13.

VSTone is now 31st, after his win.

Countdown now shows:

After 12 weeks, which club has the best IC Corps in the league?

Since the beginning, this have been a two-club race with the Fighting Furies and the Gold City Royals on top. However, the West Cold Wonders is now close to the leaders right before the last leg of the season.

The Middle-5 and the Bottom-5 have also been constant since R7.

At the bottom of the bottom, there has been no change since R4 – with the Las Vegas Bears in 11th; and the Mount Buller Demons carrying the spoon since R1.

Will there be wild changes from here on, or will the ladder keep as constant as it has been from the get go?

Round 13
ROUND 13

sub-3-png.1065387

In Round 13, I tried to play from the bench. How hard it could be, right? Well, 14 minutes and many donuts later, I must say that it is tough. Congratulations to all of you who endure it.

My fellow Rat, on the other hand, had a good day. Just like the Swawpies, though, he was close, but no cigar. Gameova_ finished fourth by just a few points. Here, this week's Top-3:

#3 - VSTone (BOM)
It was warm at the desert, but it was Baghdad who looked as the visitors against the Wonders. Replacing Jabba the Ruck, VST has beaten jezzajay (after earning a draw against ArdentEagle). His teammates, however, couldn't do much with the crumbs. It was a bad day for his team. Still, Tone's 23 disposals, 10 hit-outs, 4 tackles, and two goals, not only was a BOG-candidate performance for the Bombers. It was good enough to put him in R13 HIT's Best.

#2 - Spanna_ (CIW)
Spanna entered on TheInjuryFactory's place as a rover and he simply broke Broken. In a cloudy afternoon at VCP, the Bears pulled what is probably the upset of the season. And they did while their rover couldn't get anywhere near the ball. Spanna had more 9 disposals, 4 tackles, and a goal than his direct opponent. It was a massacre. As harsh as the loss may have been, at least Span has left the field knowing that he had done beyond his duty. Any other week, and he would have been the best IC of the round. But another close loss happened.

#1 - Cold Sober (DRA)
Cold Sober replaced Stoods at HBF and stood his ground against Catsnlakers. Seriously, the Rat rookie couldn't do anything. Cold locked him up and got rid of the key. Cats had 8 disposals, 2 marks, and a goal for the day, while CS got 23 disposals and 8 marks. It was more than a massacre. In a close contest, in warm conditions at the Underground, Sober's game may have been the difference between victory and defeat for the Dragons. There could be no other winner for the R13 IC of the Week award.

ROUND 14

It's the H.I.T. 14th episode. This time, Spanna_ and LukeParkerno1 were the ones who almost made it. Still, almost is not enough. In our Top-3, we have a couple of players who have only be on the bench for just 2 matches. They have the company of one of the greatest S31 interchangers.

It rained in most of Sweet last Sunday, and no surprise that the best three came from rainy games. Here, these are the R14's best:

#3 - TalkingFootyNow1223 (GUM)
Look who is talking qooty now! Even though bone2468 was out, the Gumbies' bench delivered. No team has put as many players in the Top-3 as the Gumbies. TFN played against the Bombers at home, in The House. 2 minutes in, and he was already on the field, replacing Jivlain at CHB. There wasn't much action in his part of the field, but he still managed to beat both Bovo and CALL ME SNAKE. It was a close match, and TFN's victory over his direct competitors has certainly contributed for his team's win.

#2 - Danger in Texas (GCR)
It was DiT’s seventh game on the bench. It is his third time in the Top-3. In his first time, he had played in the midfield. In the second, he was put forward. Now, he played as a back! Danger in Texas, the R9 winner, is a complete qootballer! If the Royals have beaten the Roys by 8 points, with fewer scoring shots, much was due Tex's performance (13 disposals, 6 marks, and 2 tackles), replacing MrPremiership at HBF. His battle against Allikat was a good-enough outing for first place, but only one player can win.

#1 - TedDougChris (ROY)
And this player is TedDougChris. Let's be honest, TDC's move to the bench was a real COUP! It's true, the Roys are still to win after he was put on the pine, but he has been doing his part. If the team is struggling, that's not his fault. At the Golden Throne, TDC played in two different positions: first, at HFF (going neck and neck with Smartys Power); but mostly at RO (nullifying nahnah). He finished the game with 15 disposals, 3 tackles, and 1 goal. It also conferred him the award for R14 Best IC of The Week.

R14 - Leaderboard

Edmund hunt (1st) can win the Headless' Interchange Trophy as soon as Sunday.

Maylandsman (2nd) is probably going to be overtaken by Headless (3rd). Ok Boomer is now 4th, with WaywardSonSon (5th) still holding a Top-5 spot.

Danger in Texas (6th) has got into the Top-10, replacing ChappyUK.

bone2468 (7th) has lost a spot for the first time. Fizzler remains at 8th. LicoriceAllsorts (9th) and Cold Sober (10th) close the Top-10.

Notes:
- The round winner, TedDougChris is now 42nd;
- TalkingFootyNow1223 has jumped onto 45th;
- LukeParkerno1 is now in the first column of the ladder.

ROUND 15

Two rounds to go, and Round 15 presents us with three new faces in its Top-3. It wasn't a good day overall for bench players, but we have a deserving winner. This round's best were clearly the best:

#3 - Judd_Magic (BOM)
Lots of time on the ground? Check. High DT score. Check. Winning match-up? No. Not at all. Judd's Magic backfired and made Ulahoopski unstoppable. In a warm afternoon at Abdu Prison, the Bomber rookie didn't stand a chance. Perhaps JM shouldn't have come in replacing TheCoach16 at HBF. We will never know. Hoops ended up with 21 disposals and 5 goals. It wasn't pretty. It was enough to put him in this week's Top-3, though...

#2 - NinjaSwan (HAW)
He entered the field late, but replacing Chipmunk at RR, Ninja had plenty of action in a pretty warm warm weather at the Eyrie. He tried hard, but he couldn't ultimately stop GWS Goose. Still, his 18 touches, 4 tackles and 2 goals in only 2 thirds of ToG was more than enough to put him in 2nd place this week.

#1 - saintkildaman (GUM)
For the third time this season, a Gumby has won the round. This time is Sainty. He didn't have a good start, replacing BlueE at FP. But in the second half, he swapped positions with omgfridge. At HBF, Kilda was able to halt SFAWWE master PhenomenalV1, who couldn't put much of a fight. With his performance in the last two quarters, SKM made sure he would win the R15 IC of the Week award.

Once again, Furies and Royals have traded the place on the top. But the teams below haven't given up their pursuit!

At the bottom, the Demons is no longer last!
