Last time I tried using the Craig McRae & Adam Kingsley examples of what a change of coach can do after so long, I just got slapped with “their lists are better than yours”.
The gaslighting over the quality of our list is made even more hypocritical by Koch giving Donuts credit for building and rebuilding that list.

"... Ken has reshaped our playing list a number of times across the last decade ...."

It really is unbelievable.

Charlie Dixon, the 2020 AA CHF, written off as a permaspud, while Mason Cox is seen as a folkhero en route to a premiership medal alongside Billy Frampton.

Make it make sense.

It’s like all the simultaneous hype and praise of Chris Davies as a tremendous operator who was being headhunted by everyone from rival clubs to the league itself due to his acumen as a GM.

But he had 11 years’ worth of drafts, trade and free agency periods, yet couldn’t supply Ken with the cattle required to frank his masterful coaching with a Grand Final, let alone a flag, at all?

Which is it?

Watching hinkley post 2014

I’m certain that if you ask the average happyclapper to tell you one thing they actually remember happening during Hinkley’s 13 years, most of them will struggle to give you one.
If forced to point to something specific, rather than a generic 'He saved Port', 90% are going to be choosing from the last Showdown at Football Park, the first at AO or the 2014 EF. And genuinely confused as to why them nearly all choosing one's from over a decade ago only highlight he stayed too long.

The club spent a lot of time massaging the media to ensure they never got asked that question in a meaningful way.

Or they'd just point to 2012 and how Ken Hinkley rebuilt the club (but not the list he hasn't been able to do that or isn't responsible for it depending on who you're asking and what they're trying to avoid accountability for)

I doubt he'd even want to coach again.
It's just going to be annoying to see him with Roo commenting on our games.
What is give for our own broadcast crew ala US sport coverage.

Imagine someone tapping you on the shoulder at some point in childhood and telling you that in the year 2025 — when we’re all in flying cars and living in cities on the moon — the Brisbane Bears (Lions) would win back-to-back flags, while Port Adelaide’s coach’s ’best moment’ would be mugging for the camera with a set of lolly teeth while getting smashed by the former.

It was clear at that point that the Kenny Show™ had become more important than the Port Adelaide Football Club.

Utterly shameful that those in charge didn't come down like a tonne of hot bricks on the chromosome deficient campaigner.

I hate him with the heat of a thousand suns.

And that port fans were called "ungrateful"
