What rock have you been hiding under? They tried to get Franklin and Rischitelli last year.It wasnt just the word they did have the money. They will no doubt try again this year but lets face it unless we finsih last and have the first pick in the draft chances are we would have to trade Ryder, Gumbleton and probably a draft pick to even be in the picture for Judd. The Saints are not going to give away Dal Santo without a fight as they havnt exactly got class midfielders to burn. Are we to give away the future of the club to gain 1 player? Just having the money to get simply wont get a player to us. You have to give something up unless you finish last and have the first pick in the draft. If they land a big name then it would be great but the chances of it happening are very ,very small.
They should be trying to pick up a ruckman anyway.

I'm actually coming around to this theory myself, albeit relctantly. To see two inferior clubs beat us the last two weeks for the simple reason that they flood our forward line, but we refuse to, has made me realise that Sheedy needs to go.
I respect him for making a stand against flooding, but unless he can sign a gentleman's agreement with the opposition coach we will lose every game.

I thought we lost our last two games because we tried to play "today's style of football."
When we ran, took risks, kicked long and carried the footy, we won. Strikingly similar to the way we played in 2000.
