Sacked!!!

After 17 years in the job as a bowling club greenkeeper, Santos L Helper was given his marching orders at a specially convened committee meeting this morning.
The club president indicated that this was a redundancy case and did not reflect on previous performances, but hinted at some factions within the club unhappy with Santos' autocratic methods of dealing with the greens.
The waiting media, stunned by the proceedings, caught up with Santos as he stormed from the club. 'They can all get ****ed' Santos was quoted as saying while brandishing a fist in the direction of the clubhouse. Santos was last seen leaving the club in a car reportedly stolen from the car park.

Seriously though, this was a bit of a shock, but now I can concentrate on my studies and I get to live like a poor student.

As a Port supporter you would know there is pletny of money to be made down at the docks!

Thanks Jars. I am a mature age student, unless I started as a greenkeeper when I was 4.
I will be looking for a job down at the docks, perhaps as a knee capper.

Pedro, maybe that's why they sacked me, no one was into punk and they fired me over musical differences?

I've already started drinking, after all I get 8 weeks pay, so I might have a bit of a party. The longer the day goes on, the more I feel relieved to be away from the old bastards.

Nah, thats bad news. They were unhappy with how you managed the greens??? What would they know!!! You should sneak in there tonight with a whole bag of grass killer and ruin the greens for a week or two

I havn't been a student for 7 years and If I was now I would be a mature age student

Tell you what though - I wouldn't sit in the front row and answer every bloody question the lecturer asks and make all the poor normal students who do no work and drink a lot look silly!!!
