Today my friends, it dawned on me that our Mascot is a bludger who can't seem to motivate the players into playing like the mighty Tiger.

In fact, we can't seem to win a game on our own damned home ground.

The time has come to sack this campaigner, and replace him with cheerleaders. If that don't get 'em playing good footy then blow me down with a feather and call me Johnny Rombotis.

We need a more impressive spectacle from our mascot. If the Blues have a hovercraft I want a blimp. Stripes dangling from a bungee cord high-fiving supporters as it does circles above the stadium. That's entertainment.

Custodian in his gumboots trundles it out in a wheelbarrow, upturns it at the top of the race, swears, takes a draw from his cigarette and heads back down to the rooms. I like it.

Given the club has updated the logo, maybe they can look into doing it for Stripes too?

Check out some of these bad boys that are sure to inspire fear into our opponents and get the crowd pumping!

Then again, perhaps its the dude inside the costume who needs upgrading to bring a bit more energy and excitement to the role.

If that's the case, I'd nominate this fella.
