)well you and your mates no nothing about footyI reckon he and Jericho are the two luckiest blokes in the AFL to be on a list
Credit where credit is due your summation of Saddington is spot on.These are the same inept weaknesses he showed at the Swans. One of the weakest players to have played league football alongside Fiora. You do have another long year ahead of you dont worry about that unless Ratten,Kernahan and Co can come up with some other way of cheating. They,ve rorted salary caps and tanked matches for draft and priority picks,so all they have to do now is come with a way of dishonestly gaining 4 points during the season and they will have made cheating an art form.Oh and if Dick Pratt does the honorable thing and stands down as President i reckon Don King would be a great replacement ,then you would have had a price fixer and a match fixer at the helm and the tradition continues.Personally i was hoping we had delisted him at the end of last year but that wasn't the case.
Not accountable, and struggles to hold down opponents. Gets pushed aside easily - and for a 28 year old that shouldn't be the case.
Hope he doesn't play a senior game this year. If he does then i think it'd be safe to say we're going to have another long year ahead.
one thing about saddo is he had good disposal and he all ways had to play on monsters.Ugh. I always thought he was useless when he played for the Swans. Always being beaten by his opponent, always turning the ball over. I'd always cringe when he got possesion, knowing he wasn't going to do anything good with it. He was the only player I was glad to see, go.
I can recall another post Bedford where you defended Saddington with his good disposal and he had to play on monsters. The only monster he ever played on was Carey and that was only a couple of times and maybe Tarrant who tore him to shreds on a couple of ocassions.Dunkley and Barry played on bigger and stronger players for their whole careers week in week out but they done it with an intensity and ferocious competitive attitude that Saddington sadly lacked, thats why he was moved on from The Swans and will struggle to ever player league football again even with that bunch of rabble he is now with.I also note you have defended Schneider with a lack of game time as an excuse.Nick Fosdike spent as much time on the pine as him,the only difference being he could get the ball and Schneider couldnt.I think you have your favourites and thats fair enough but have you ever thought these people who you claim know nothing about football might think the same of you when you continually ramble on about an easy target in Mc Veigh. For what its worth i dont think Mc Veigh is a league footballer either but please spare us the crap of defending one of the most physically insipid individuals to represent the Swans who was no better than Mc Veigh.one thing about saddo is he had good disposal and he all ways had to play on monsters.
i'm starting to believe a few posters on here have no idea
fair enough CM,my problem with saddington was that he was recruited as a wingman or as a outside tall runner, but due to poor recruiting had to play in KDB.I can recall another post Bedford where you defended Saddington with his good disposal and he had to play on monsters. For what its worth i dont think Mc Veigh is a league footballer either but please spare us the crap of defending one of the most physically insipid individuals to represent the Swans who was no better than Mc Veigh.

and remembered hearing his name a while ago...then never again
whats wrong with a bit of debate between two swans fans. Can we try and keep this sort of stuff off the swans board? It's better suited to Bay 13.
Who says so ?Bedford is a very astute poster whos opinion on matters Swans i respect.I was merely stating he does have his favourite players who he tends to defend vigourously and he also has his whipping boy,you know who.If i want i will have my opinion and voice it on this forum in any manner i see fit.In this case I have stated my thoughts on Saddington and Bedford has stated his.Alls good.If we want your opinion we will ask for it but that is highly unlikely as that old saying about the back of a postage stamp may refer to your goodself. Can we try and keep this sort of stuff off the swans board? As the previous poster said, I was referring to the carlton stuff. I don't have a problem with the rest of what you were saying. I'm just a bit over the whole Carlton tanking crap and the last thing I wanted to see was for it to spill over into the swans board as it seems to be the only place to escape it. Sorry if I caused any offence or confusion.
P.S. You can stick your postage stamp saying up your a***![]()
remember anyone coached by pagan in the last few years, just ignore that form. Thanks for that MF.
I just thought I'd post in this thread and write a few words about where i think Saddington is at. It's a bit annoying to have to see those kind of replies but i tend to ignore it now a days.
I hope like anything he can prove me wrong and become an important part of our team, however i just cannot see it as i don't think he has the attributes to be a solid and accountable defender at AFL level.
I really hoped he would be successful there but I think he's really struggled
Has really struggled at Carlton. Can't hold down a spot consistantly and has been used as a fill in player. Best is way past him. Good servant for the Swans though.
